"Ugh! I'm exhausted!" Heeseung complains out loud as he walked down the hallway, stretching his arms out while his sibling walked beside him.
And Heejin in response, rolls her eyes before she spoke. "Well, maybe you wouldn't be so exhausted if you didn't take up way too many clubs and school responsibilities."
"Hey, the people need me, okay? That's why I took up those jobs," Heeseung retaliates, to which Heejin gives him another witty response.
"No. The people only need someone to take up their job for them instead of doing it themselves."
"Hey, now! Why would you say that?!" Heeseung asks as if he were the one who would be offended.
And to that, Jinwoo states his side. "I mean, noona has a point. You're taking way too many responsibilities like this school doesn't have enough students to take them instead of you."
"Well, what if I said I like what I do?" Heeseung retaliates this time, to which his siblings give him looks of disappointment and disapproval. "What? I do, though?"
"You're a disapppintment," Heejin states, and to that, Heeseung widens his eyes.
"Hey, what's that supposed to mean?!"
"Nothing!" Heejin replies, proceeding to ignore her brother even as the latter almost starts to beg. And then,
"By the way, where's Taehyun-hyung? I thought you still accompany him out of the school?" Jinwoo suddenly asks out of nowhere, causing his two older sibling to look towards him. That is until a second later, and Heeseung is turning back to Heejin with curious eyes. Heejin then turns to her older brother, and she frowns as she looks ahead.
"Oh, Taehyun? He actually got to settling into the school a lot quicker than I thought," Heejin then replies. "I mean, he doesn't get targeted as much now, and he even argued with me that he can walk himself out of the school on his own."
"Wow, your ex argued with you about tha- Ack! Ow??" Heeseung complains after having been elbowed, and when he turns to Heejin, it isn't really even surprising at all that she would be glaring at him.
"Shut up! He's not my ex!"
"Of course, he isn't," Heeseung only mutters under his breath as they continue walking.
Well, it had definitely been a busy day for almost everyone. Especially since today would be the official beginning of the preparations for the summer festival. A lot of the students were immediately rushing from classroom to classroom and office to office for their own preparations, and the Lee siblings weren't safe from it, either.
And Heejin, though she wasn't currently a member of any club, as the PIO, she still had the job of managing and making sure the fliers and brochures for the festival were made well and printed properly, such that they would look friendly and appealing to the eye.
Now this resulted in all three of the siblings feeling exhausted at the end of the day. Though for Heejin, that exhaustion would only quickly disappear, soon replaced by shock and confusion upon discovering a very familiar intruder in her room.
"What the-"
"What are you- Jay?! Mmph!!" Heejin only becomes even more shocked when the boy suddenly runs to her, quickly placing his hand over his mouth to silence her. It looks like he's hiding, Heejin notices, and then she notices his heavy breathing and the sweat running down his neck. "What..."
"Shh! Stay quiet for now. I can't be discovered or else they'll drag me back," Jay whispers to her with a cautious tone, meanwhile his gaze looks towards the window he had come from.
