"... Jiwoo-"

"What? Are you gonna bring up what happened at the festival? Because if so, then I'm just gonna leave since that obviously has nothing to do with the fight I just got into." With a stubborn and obviously avoidant behavior, Jiwoo stands up from her seat, turning to leave only to be stopped by Heeseung leaning over his table and grabbing her wrist.

"Hey-?!"

"Ugh, what is with you?! Since when did you actually care about me that you'd be going out of your way to still mention something that happened five days ago?!" Jiwoo suddenly shouts, and upon doing so, this only leads to an argument where both of them would be shouting at each other.

"So what?! Are you really just gonna pretend like nothing happened?! That guy literally almost hit you!"

"That 'guy' is my boyfriend, you idiot!"

"And you think he really loves you?! If he actually did, then he would never think of ever hurting you!"

"Do I look like I care?!"

"Even if you don't, I do! So stop being stubborn and just talk to me!" Out of impulse, Heeseung suddenly says words he never expected to say. And though he didn't realize it quickly, Jiwoo did. And her eyes widened in response.

"You... you what?" she breathes out, slight disbelief in her words. For a second, she almost forgot about how frustrated she was at Heeseung for interfering in her business; and she almost forgot about him holding her wrist, too...

Until Heeseung realized what he said, but he didn't show his surprise this time as he lowers his grip on Jiwoo's wrist until his hand is now gently holding hers.

Jiwoo's gaze quickly travels to their hands, and she looks back at Heeseung with a confused expression. "W-what are you-"

"Hey... I know we've had our differences in the past, but seriously..." Heeseung softly spoke, as if to comfort the troubled girl infront of him, "I can't just leave you in that kind of relationship. I mean, do you really want to be with that kind of person?"

Jiwoo pauses. She knows, alright. She knows that Heeseung is just being nice, trying to help her with her problems... But that's exactly what annoys her about it.

With Heeseung's hold on her having softened, she quickly yanks her hand away, looking down at it before she glares at a wide-eyes Heeseung. "You always talk all high and mighty... I doubt you'd even know what to do once you realize you almost destroyed someone's relationship."

She leaves, and though Heeseung called after her, there was no way he could stop her this time. Especially not with that table infront of him.

Meanwhile...

While there was Jiwoo who refused to accept Heeseung's help for the belief that he was just doing it for show, there was Jay who refused help from Heejin... simply because he refused to believe he needed it.

"Oh, thank goodness! There you are!" Heejin exclaims after finally finding Jay on the school's rooftop after classes had ended that day.

He had been lying down on the floor, just staring at the sky when Heejin came in. And even after sensing her presence, he didn't show much of a reaction. Which was, in itself, weird.

"Hey. Are you alive? At least, talk when I say something," Heejin speaks as she approaches the boy, until her feet are just beside his head. She looks down at him, blocking the sunlight from going to his face, and with her actions, Jay finally reacts as he looks at her, meeting her eyes.
