"Ack! Ow, what was that for?!" Jay cried out upon receiving a smack on the back of his head, and then turning around to see a very annoyed-looking Heejin.
"Don't act like you don't know what you did!"
"No, I really don't," Jay replied with a genuinely clueless expression, however, Heejin doesn't end up believing it, of course, as she just hits him again.
"Ow! No, seriously, what did I do- Ack!"
This might just turn out to be a very painful start of the day for Jay who might just actually end up clueless for the rest of the day why exactly he was getting hit by Heejin.
On the other hand, it might also be Taehyun's busiest morning, since he's in charge of making sure all students are present before the buses leave for the Junior Class 3's camping trip. Unbeknownst to him, this morning also has quite the (rather unpleasant) surprise for him.
Clipboard in one hand, and the other going through the papers he had to make sure he has everything he needs, the boy can't help but rush to the front entrance of the school's main building when, all of a sudden, he hears Jay's and Heejin's voices echoing down the hall. His steps stop, and as he listens, curiosity slowly gets the best of him, and Taehyun peeks around the corner to see what exactly could be going on between the two again.
There, in the hallways, the two teens seem to be having a rather lively conversation with Heejin still scolding Jay while the latter just laughs while trying to dodge and counter her attacks.
"They always seem so close with each other," the thought forms in Taehyun's mind as he watches them, all the while, his brows furrow unconsciously, and yet he furrows them even more when Heejin tries to punch her companion only for Jay to dodge it and then suddenly wrap his arms around her in an attempt to keep her from attacking him even more. The sight, obviously, doesn't look too good to Taehyun who still remains hidden from the sight of the two, and yet, what exactly can he even say or do in that situation? He's already basically ruined his chances by hurting Heejin without even realizing it. Does he even have the right to be jealous at this point?
When the thought and the feeling finally becomes too much, all Taehyun can do in the end is just walk away, and that's exactly what he does, towards the school's side entrance so he doesn't have to encounter the two friends.
Meanwhile, Sohee had just arrived at the parking area where their bus is parked when a certain someone appears beside her as she's loading her bags into the bus.
"You must have been scared when Jihyun and that rumored boyfriend of yours got into a fight," Jungwon's voice came shortly after his appearance as he started loading his bags into the bus, too, and Sohee's eyes immediately widen as she looks towards him. Not long after, however, she frowns, and Jungwon responds by stopping and then turning to her with a nonchalant expression. "You haven't changed much, it seems. You're still as grumpy as you used to be."
"And you're still so clingy just like before," Sohee quickly responds. "Stop approaching me, seriously. We're not that close, anymore." She brings her last bag into the bus before quickly trying to walk out of the situation. However, Jungwon doesn't let her, as he grabs her arm just as she's passing by and making her stop in her tracks, frowning even more now while refusing to turn back to him. "Let. Me. Go."
"Are you really just gonna throw away everything we were just because of what happened back then?"
"Stop talking like we were a thing. It's making me sick."
"Ah... so that's how you treat your old friends, huh, Sohee?"
"Shut up!" Her face turning red with anger, Sohee yanks her hand away as she finally turns to Jungwon with the intention of attacking him only to suddenly find herself face to face with him... and another voice soon calling her name.
