You were currently sitting on the couch, watching TV and playing with one of your many toys.
Bucky was sitting close by, filling out a mission report that he had to finish today. He was working on it for hours already, barely paying attention to you.
But you wanted your dad, so, to catch his attention you started to whimper, but Bucky just shushed you. You tried again, this time you put a bit more effort into it and started fussing too. Again, he shushed you.
You grew frustrated with your dad ignoring you and babbled a quiet, but clearly annoyed "Papa!"
This time, Bucky didn't shush you. In the contrary: he couldn't get enough of you talking and immediately called Steve to tell him the good news.
He even held the phone close to your mouth so that Steve could here it himself, unfortunately you started wailing right this second and left Steve with a tinnitus.
