"How do you like the pizza, Y/N?" Taehyung questions as he stares over at you while taking a bite of his pizza. You nod your head as you take a bite of your own slice.

"It's good." You say, stretching out the "o's" as you speak. He lets out a soft laugh as he hears you say it like this. He then glances over at Seulgi, who's now eyeing him.

Sunmi left with her boyfriend so the two could spend the rest of the night together, leaving you, Taehyung, and Seulgi to get pizza.

As you eat your pizza, you glance around and let out a soft sigh as you feel the alcohol starting to wear off a little bit. Biting onto your slice of pizza once more, you lean back in your seat and rest your free hand on your stomach.

"I'm getting full." You mumble, pouting.

"I'll finish it." Taehyung says as he holds his hand out for the rest of the pizza you hadn't finished yet. You nod before taking one last bite and handing it over to him.

While you do this, Seulgi is analyzing him, narrowing her eyes. She tilts her head to the side while staring at the two of you.

"You guys really are close, aren't you?" she questions once Taehyung takes a bite of your slice of pizza.

"Yeah, you could say that." He states before shrugging his shoulders. She nods before glancing over at you. You smile over at her before Seulgi grins back at you.

"So, what are we going to do once this is done? We can't go back to the party but did you guys want to do anything?" she questions.

"I actually think I'm going to head out in a few minutes." Taehyung states.

"Oh? Did you make plans to do something else knowing we were going to the party tonight?" you question while looking over at him. He shrugs his shoulder before finishing your slice of pizza.

Seulgi also is now eyeing him.

"Jimin texted me a few minutes ago." He states. "He needed me to do him a favor... you don't mind now that we already got kicked out of the party anyway, right, Y/N?" he questions.

You bite onto your lower lip, now getting slightly upset as you realize that he's distancing himself now that he knows you have a crush on him.

"Sure." You say quietly. This causes Taehyung to glance over at you, worried. He furrows his eyebrows as he stares over at you. He goes to reach his hand over to place it on yours before hesitating and deciding not to comfort you.

It gets awkwardly quiet before Taehyung eventually gets up once leaving enough pay for the meal.

"Thanks for inviting me to the party, Y/N." he says while smiling politely down at you. "I'll see you around, alright?" you nod your head. He goes to say goodbye to Seulgi but just gives her a quick wave when he sees the death glare she's giving him. He then makes his way out of the pizza place, leaving just you and Seulgi.

"You okay?" she questions quietly now that it's just you two. You smile a sad smile before shaking your head.

"No." you blink, feeling tears forming in your eyes. "I think I misread the signs he was throwing at me." you state. She gets quiet before taking another bite of her own pizza. The tears in your eyes begin rolling down your face as you allow yourself to feel the pain of rejection.

"I guess we all did..." she says. However, her tone tells you that she doesn't believe that. You stare over at her and furrow your eyebrows.
