You're now at your dorm after the party.

Taehyung is standing at your door, ready to leave. You bite onto your lower lip as you think about something while staring over at him.

"Hey, Tae?" you question. He lifts his eyebrows as he looks over at you.

"Yeah?"

"When would be the right time for us to tell Jimin and everyone from the party about us not really dating?" you question. Taehyung glances up at the ceiling, silently thinking about your question.

After a few seconds of thinking, his eyes divert back to you.

"I don't know how I would explain what happened to them, if I'm being honest." He states, causing you to nod your head slowly. "But what I'm thinking we can do is 'break up,' not hang out around them for a bit, and then have you come back as a close friend rather than a girlfriend." He states.

"That would definitely make it easier." You state before biting onto your lower lip. "But what would I say if one of them were to ask me why we broke up?" you question.

"Easy. We just say that the attraction went away and that we were better off as friends." He states, not hesitating with his answer.

This causes your heart to drop, sinking deeply into your chest. Your shoulders slightly slump over as well, almost as if you had just taken a metaphorical bullet in your chest.

You know it's not a real relationship. You know this is all fake and that you two are fine.

However, it makes you sad thinking about the way he described it.

Does his attraction towards one of his partners go away that quickly?

You bite onto your lower lip before nodding your head.

"Well, I probably should get going." Taehyung says as he reaches for the doorknob on your door. He then looks back at you once more, giving his signature boxy smile. "Thanks for playing along with the couple thing, Y/N. I really appreciate it. Anyone, including me, would be lucky to have you as their actual girlfriend." He says before giving you a quick wink and making his way out of your dorm.

You stare over at the door in shock of what he just said.

He went from talking about losing attraction to one another to that in seconds.

How?

You raise your eyebrows for a second, processing what just happened before it hits you.

Anyone... including him.

Interesting.

"Including him?" Seulgi questions before looking over at Sunmi. The two smirk at one another.

"You know, before you realized you had a crush on him, you would've let something that obvious go right over your head." Sunmi states. "I'm glad you're paying attention now." Seulgi nods in agreement before she leans over the table slightly.

The three of you are at the coffee shop near the university, gossiping while you drink coffee.

You glance around, making sure that none of Taehyung's many friends and acquaintances are near.

"Yeah, yeah. I get it, I was letting small things go over my head."

"Small?" Sunmi questions.
