Final Epilogue

Spike and I were standing in the lobby of the airport, it had been six months since the war with the First and Spike tried to sacrifice himself, and I decided to die with him... but for some reason we didn't... The ring of Princess Amara saved him or maybe it was because Spike and I had completed our mate bond. It was still very unclear.

The entire town of Sunnydale had been destroyed, but the Gaul house still stood as strong and proud as Godric had it built.

I had contacted my authority and we were slowly rebuilding the town but we made sure to block off the Hellmouth, we covered it with cement thick enough that no one would find it or be able to open it. Many of my people helped with the rebuilding and soon people were starting to move back, the humans had their memories wiped so they wouldn't remember the Turok Han or anything like that.

Everything was like the war never happened.... Anyway over the six months the gang and I were getting used to our new lives... Buffy and I were no longer the only slayers in existence and were trying to build a life or at least Buffy was. 

Spike and I were also getting used to our new life of being full mates and Spike's newfound freedom, with the ring of Princess Amara, he could walk in the sun just like me without fear of going poof, of course I keep a watchful eye on him just in case but we've been enjoying being able to watch the sunrise in the morning just us.

We were preparing to welcome our new additions too... Twins, I was pregnant with twins.

Anyway today was a big day... Olivia was coming home, flanked by Dawn and Nick... So Buffy was standing with us. The three of us stood together quietly.

Roman and Kassie were already gone, they left a little after the battle going back to their own families. It was hard letting them leave after what we had just went through, but I understood their reasons, I felt the same way when Spike tried to make me leave him... I got news that Kassie and Aimee were both pregnant too... So it's been an eventful few months.

"Mama!"

My head turned seeing Olivia running towards me human speed, she had grown up a little bit she wasn't the same five year old that I sent away.

My arms opened as she got closer, I picked her up and hugged her tightly, feeling her arms wrap around my neck and hold me tighter.

"Mama..."

"Shh...it's okay baby" I murmured sensing her sadness, I leaned back a little, wiping her eyes. "I told you we'd come get you..."

Nick came walking up behind Liv, his arm wrapped around Dawn. When Dawn saw Buffy, she instantly hugged her sister while Nick came to my side.

"And it's okay?.... I mean...." Olivia asked tilting her head, eyeing Spike then me.

I nodded smiling at her.

"We're okay..." I told her kissing her cheek, she hugged me again.

I glanced at Spike who watched us with a soft look. He wrapped his arm around my waist and rubbed her back. Olivia wrapped her other arm around him, pulling him into our hug. I sighed in content.

"Come on, let's go home." I said letting Spike take Olivia.

Nick, Buffy and Dawn gathered the bags as we walked out together.

"Wait.... It's daylight..." Dawn said in confusion looking over at Spike then me. "How is he..."

"A little gift from my amazing mate." Spike muttered holding up his hand.

I smiled at him, hiding my blush.

"The Gem of Amara?" Nick asked in disbelief. "I thought Angel destroyed it."
