"I'm tired."

"The School Year just started Mel."

I look at IN. He looks as tired as I am. The Rose Academy, in the capital, gathers all the Nobility. From Marquis, to Counts and even Dukes and Royals. All children dream of getting through the Rose's Academy's gate. A difficult exam is necessary for that except if you are from the Royal Family. As the daughter of a Marquis, I passed with flying colors and couldn't be more delighted.

"It's been two years that I am here. It's my third year. I've gone over the dreamy phase." I sigh as I look at IN

IN is my classmate, a Count's son. He is fairly popular because of his childish smile and manners. He knows how to adapt to any situation. The only time he is honest is when he is with me, his childhood friend. Or my brothers.

"Why is my little sister making that face?"

I grin hearing Bang Chan talk. Bang Chan is in fact my cousin. His parents died in a carriage accident. His extraordinary talent for fire magic got him a place within our family. My parents despise him, so he just got the name and a decent room in the capital. Bang Chan was not one to break. He became an adventurer at the young age of 14 and was now an A Class adventurer. Balancing classes and quests, he was one of the top student of Rose Academy. Now, he was also a teacher at the Rose Knight Academy.

"Melo." Felix's voice reached my ears and I couldn't help but widen my smile

While Bang Chan was four years older than me, Felix was just two years older and was in his last year of school. A talented fire mage, he had a reserved place at the Magic Tower certainly. He was my big brother, the best. The Heir. The achieved one.

I was unachieved. My parents loathed me and looked for a way to sell me to some rich noble since I was 16. I could only get married when I was 20, being 19 now...I sighed. "Long sleeved?" Bang Chan frowned

"Don't pay attention to him. He's being an idiot."

He clicked his tongue.

"Look forward instead of being a prick." I said pointing the entrance

"Not her." IN whined

Aurora Blanche. The innocent looking girl of all times. A commoner who had unexpected affinity with water and a really powerful mage. Adopted by Viscount Blanche, she was the source of all gossips. She had to become our classmate this year and I dreaded it. I had seen her at the entrance ceremony the day before and her aura was everything but pure.

That was my ability. I could see people for what they really were. A curse more than a gift according to me. IN hated her already making me smile. However, he wasn't the only one. Many questioned her behavior because of her so obvious attempt to flirt with the crown prince. An idiot that fell under her charm in minutes.

Result was that his fiancé wasn't exactly the happiest. Amber Ambrose. The daughter of one of the most powerful and wealthy Duke of the capital. The right hand of the emperor. A real bitch that was also in my class. She didn't even consider me as a person and I was grateful for that. Didn't try talking to me at all.
