Soulmate 1.4: Stronger with time

I sit beside Jungkook, still surprised. 

Surprised, because I feel strangely free with them. I didn't hesitate to step out of the bathroom and worried about Jungkook as soon as I realized what had happened.

"So what is going on?" I ask

Jin puts a calming hand on my nape, massaging it gently. I give him a small glance of appreciation as I look at Jungkook who smiles at me sheepishly.

"When the link isn't made in both ways, meaning you touch the mark and the other also touches your mark, like you did with Jin Hyung, the link remains for 24 hours more or less." Jungkook explains

 "That's why you can't feel me anymore." He concludes

I did not know about that at all. I'm quite surprised to be honest. I look around the table and all of the other nod.

"It is called temporary linking." Yoongi speaks up

I look at him and nod. Remembering our awkward interaction last night, I'm kind of surprised he spoke up.

"Do you have other questions?" Hoseok asks gently "I want to ask how you feel with Jin being linked to you."

Horny.

The word pops up in my mind and I don't realize that I wouldn't have realized that I said it out loud if Namjoon didn't choke on his cup of coffee.

"Did I say it out loud?" I wonder quietly feeling the embarrassment slowly kill me inside

"Yes." Yoongi nods

"Oh." I say as he looks at me blankly

I glance at Jin and his ears are very red. Acting bold is perhaps not the best thing, but I feel like it is the only thing that can keep me out of this situation.

"Why aren't you?" I ask him

It is his time to choke as he widens his eyes at me and hides his face in his hand.

"Is it unusual?" I ask casually

All the men are shocked by the honesty of their little soulmate. However, Jin slowly takes on her feelings and knows just how nervous and embarrassed she is by what she just said. He knew how she was feeling and last expected her to say it out loud.

"Calm down Princess." Jin returns to his slow massaging motion on her nape "It is alright to feel that way and I'm the last one to complain." He looks around 

"All of us had different reaction to the link, but mostly it was immense possessiveness for a few days. That's the main reason why, we learned that we were soulmates, we made a schedule."

Jin had talked about it at the restaurant. I remember fairly well him speaking about it and I nod to him enjoying his slight massage motion still.

"That's why, we wanted to ask you." Taehyung licks his lips "Now that you linked with Jin and we talked about dates..." he doesn't finish his sentence

"This week, Jin will spend a lot of time with you. For the link to fully settle." Namjoon adds

"What Taehyung wanted to ask sweetheart, is who do you want to link with next?" Hoseok says as he rolls his eyes at his soulmate

I look at Hoseok and my mind goes blank. I didn't even expect linking with Jin today! I don't know! I feel confusion completely overtake me as I think about who to link with. My most logical choice would be Jungkook. I had a temporary link with him and we could go to University together.

Next, could be either Jimin or Hoseok. I felt the most at ease with Hoseok, making him one of the prime candidate for it.

"I don't know." I whisper as I look at them "Honestly, it is hard for me to choose."
