"Breathe." Grace looks at Bang Chan with a stern look.

They just arrived to the North Campus. And Bang Chan couldn't handle the crowd being around a mate in danger. Even less a prey mate in danger. So they had been stuck inside the car. Vehicles were forbidden usually, but your mates cared little for the rules. Changbin had drown for hours straight and no one talked. You oscillated between sleep and a worried state. You were more worried for your mates than about the hunters.

Hunters. They had been the very source of your troubles since the beginning. However, you couldn't understand why they would go to such length to just...capture you. Had someone, a sponsor, seen you and paid a hefty sum to get you?

"Grace." Jimin gets your attention "Don't dwell too much on it." He sighs

"I wasn't. I wondered who was so interested in a white doe that they would send hunters after them." You look at him "Auctions usually took place at night and I was never outwardly shown there, since the director of the auction had something for me." You sigh "And even if the Hunters that came to the University here..." your mind rushes.

How could have they known?

Usually, they send a bunch of hunters around. Moreover, the signal of the talkie walkie couldn't go over 2 km of distance. There was a problem. Or rather there was someone.

"What are you going on about?" Hyunjin say "We're going to go inside the house and do a quick tour to make sure there are no problems." He adds "You stay inside."

You nod. Too lost in thoughts. Hyunjin pats your head and nods to Jimin. They move out of the car and lock it. Hyunjin is scared. And annoyed about the whole situation. He wants peace with his mates. That's it, nothing else.

"We'll find them." Bang Chan taps his shoulder

"Ah, Changbin!" Jihyo calls out "Give me the car keys, she'll be too nervous inside alone." She points to the car

"Where is your herd?" Bang Chan looks around not seeing either Momo or Sana.

"They are back at the house." She points to the direction of their own house.

Bang Chan nods. Changbin hands Jihyo the keys and she waves at them. Felix has an instant feeling that something is wrong. That something bad will happen, but he doesn't act upon it. He knows that he is being paranoid because of the hunters.

"Jihyo." You smile at the sheep hybrid as she steps inside the car.

She doesn't answer you.

You frown.

"Jihyo? Are you okay?" You ask softly as you manage to make your way to the first row of seat just behind the driver seat.

"It'll be fine." She says

Something changed in her eyes. Right away your reach out for the door, but its locked. You don't have time to fully realize what's going on as she starts the car and drives away faster than you ever could imagine. You're shaken in all directions since you don't have a seatbelt on and you can feel the bruises forming. Nonetheless, you manage to sit back down.

"Jihyo, explain." You say after a while

She took several small routes and it'll be impossible to find the vehicle. You know it. You had somehow concluded that there was a betrayer. Someone who rated out your position. It was that easy. Nevertheless, you never expected it to be Jihyo. You remember her on the first day you came to North University. You were so envious of her strength.

"If you weren't here, it would have been my spot." She whispers

You barely hear her, but you feel how uncertain she sounds. It's flagrant. You stare at her through the rear mirror and take another deep breath in. Panicking won't work right now. You had to think and quickly.
