"Fucking hell." I whisper as I stand outside the pack house.

"You alright?" A feminine voice asks.

I glance at her. She's the girl, Layla, the Omega. I don't answer her and keep my eyes close. I need to try and make this deal work. As much as I hate it here, as much as I hate Blue Moon, my parents are important to me.

"Oy, are you listening to me?" Layla waves her hand in front of me.

"I'm not. I don't intend to." I whisper.

"How disrespectful." Layla growls but there is no real intent in it.

"What do you want?" I ask opening my eyes to see her holding the herbs that I had last time for Jimin.

"I was curious of what you wanted to do with those?" She whispers "I was rude the other day and hurt you. I apologize for it."

"I don't blame you for being protective of your pack." I whisper as I look at the herbs, they are still useful "It was to make a cream to lessen his pain. It would have eventually healed him at some point. Just a much slower and long process." I explain.

"I also have the gift of herbs, but I couldn't see it." She says amazement in her voice.

"That's because you were overwhelmed by emotions." I smile at her "When you are overwhelmed by negative emotions, your gift won't work. Anger is part of it." I sigh.

"I didn't know that." She widens her eyes "You seem to...know a lot." She ventures.

"I studied my gifts." I whisper "Well I was more or less forced to embrace them quickly."

I remember the elders of the pack locking inside the pack's library with a bunch of books on herbs. I was 11 at the time where my nature as an Omega was definite. I spent days in that library learning all the herbs, all the possible combinations...It wasn't that bad at the end.

"You don't like your pack." Layla asks.

I look at her surprised.

"You just had a very bitter expression on your face." She raises her hand in defense.

"I was the only Omega of my pack." I say because for me it is self-explanatory.

She frowns.

"Here, Omegas are celebrated." She says "They help the pack and assure the safety of the injured. So they are very important. We are really protected here. Leo and I are the Omegas here."

I think to all the insults I heard. To all the beating I received. To the disappointment of my parents. Well, every pack ought to be different. I was just born in a shitty pack.

"I'm happy to hear that for you." I smile.

"So you can smile like that." She whispers.

I ignore it and look at the door opening. Hoseok walks out and raises an eyebrow at me before grinning. I roll my eyes and huff as Layla walks away.

"Did you just make a friend?" Hoseok asks as he follows me back inside.

"Who did?" I sigh "So?" I stare at the Alphas.

"We accept your deal."

I take a deep breath as I look at Yoongi who just pronounced those words.

"But." Of course there is a but. Why wouldn't there be?

"But?" I look at Jungkook.

"That's a pact for Red Claw. Not for Dark Blood." He looks right at me "If Blue Moon crosses path with Dark Blood there will be no one spared." He smiles.
