Apocalypse 2.3 : Infatuation

"Get her inside my office." Jin opens the door from his side.

"Jin-"

"Jungkook now." Jin growls and I feel the hairs on my nape rise up in the air.

This is the real Seokjin. A hybrid. A dangerous being that can defend himself. Not the man I got to know during my internship in Freetown. Not the guy who made fluffy pancakes and had a caring personality. This wasn't the same man.

"LET ME GO." I swat Jungkook's hands off and I jump off the car.

I dodge Taehyung without difficulty and begin running towards the gate. It's still opened enough for someone to pass. If I'm quick enough, I might-

"No." Jimin's voice comes up my ear and he manages to swipe me off my feet, lacing an arm around my stomach.

"LET ME GO." I sound hysterical and maybe I am.

"Eliana for god's sake." Jimin grits as I claw at his arms and try to push his hands away.

"Let me go." I grit as I turn to face him and try to push him away.

"ENOUGH." Jin growls loudly.

He approaches and Jimin lets me go. I'm not quick enough to escape as Jin grabs my arm. I stare at him and try to kick him but it doesn't work as he grabs my leg and keeps his old on it. I'm far from flexible enough to attempt any martial arts movement and I just try to take his fingers of my arm. However he lifts his arm and I'm unable to move as it begins to hurt.

"Hyung, you're hurting her." Yoongi sighs appearing from behind me "Eliana, let us talk for a minute and stop being-"

"Hell no." I say as Jin finally loosens his grip "You want me out of here? Then let me out."

Yoongi rubs a hand in his air annoyed.

"We want you safe." He argues "That's what we want. Nothing less, nothing more."

"And do you think I will be safe with humans?" I ask him sighing.

"They are your people." Jimin looks towards the gate.

They were. I was human too. But I resisted to the poison of the Infected. I could help with the vaccine as my blood was partially used as a model for it. Since the Crash, since I kept giving reports and couldn't save anyone, humans weren't on my side. Because I filmed some of their friends, loves or acquaintances turn into monsters. Without doing anything. All the base data hybrids and humans had on Infected were from me.

"Eli!" I heard Cha call out.

Seeing the eagle hybrid run towards me made me smile. He was the one who saved me. Grabbing my shoulders, he looked straight at me. I knew he was angry.

"I'm sorry Cha." I smiled sadly "I didn't want to go back-"I felt the tears mount. The eagle hybrid pulled me to his chest.

"You are an idiot." Cha whispered holding me tight "A real idiot."

He pulled away and bowed to be on my eye level "I won't abandon you Eliana. Never." He said confidently "They need me here and the fact that they broke the deal they had with me..." He strands straight again and glares at Jin who remains quiet.

"Did you get bitten?" Someone else asks.

I didn't realize that my shirt was falling from my shoulder and that the bite was visible. I tilt my head to the hybrid that asked. I recognize him from the time I was in the infirmary. His name was...

"Coups." He says at my estranged face "You saved my teammate." He says "The bite looks old and you haven't changed at all. Did you get the vaccine at the time? It looks more than a year old." He adds.
