"Morning Josh-Hoshi?" I frowned confused seeing the blond hair male standing beside the opened door.

"Joshua took a day off." Hoshi sighed "Woozi was busy. I'm being the babysitter today." He grinned.

Hoshi and I got along fine with each other. I had no idea if he could stab me in the back later, but it felt great to be able to speak with someone on the way to university. I entered the car, thanking him for the door and he got in.

"You look like you have something to tell me." Hoshi says.

"Hoseok laughed last night." I whisper. "Like...normally."

Hoshi glances at me in the rear mirror. Shocked. Clearly.

"You are sure, you didn't dream it?" He frowns.

I tell him the exact scene that happened.

"I think your scent is getting too strong for them." Hoshi commented objectively "When human girls get their period, their scent is sweeter. But if Sir Jung laughed, that's quite amazing."

"I don't want to think too much about it, honestly. I just...I felt like crying from happiness. And the link was thrumming with joy. I can feel it when strong emotions are felt." It was the first time I talked about it to Hoshi.

"You can feel the mate bond?" He frowned. "You never told me about it?"

"I told Joshua about it, last night and he told me 'impossible' right away." I chuckle.

That's what Hoshi wanted to say at the very beginning. However, the girl had an unusual habit of touching her left ear when she was lying and right now, she wasn't. It was a strange habit that Namjoon had pinpointed just after they had met.

"I won't tell you that it's impossible. After all you are mates with seven hybrids." He had to text Doctor Cha about it. It was too weird that she would lie about that so openly. Her health condition maybe made her more sensitive to the bond.

"Now, we need an explanation."

I stared at the human people in my class. I knew that it was weird that I had this class. I knew most of them for three years now. We weren't friends but knew enough to go drink together every now and then. Elana was standing right in front of me.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Elana asked. "Yesterday. Or even before that."

"Because it's complicated." I whispered "I'm already enough of a mess as it is." I didn't expect them to trick me like this.

"Then Joshua is your bodyguard and today you have another one?" Filip pointed to Hoshi who had just appeared.

"It was a condition my mates put if I wanted to continue university here." I offer an apologetic smile at Hoshi.

"What's going on?" Iris and the others of our class step in.

"It doesn't regard the hybrids. Get out." Trevor, Tyler's best friend, snapped. Tyler had been remarkably quiet during the whole time Elana had spoken. No smirk. Just a blank expression.

"Be respectful." I frowned "Moreover, this isn't an interrogation room. I have hybrid mates, they more or less hate humans. I am human." I sigh "Do you think it is that fun?"

"You like hybrids. You always liked those half-animals." Trevor sighed. "That goes against you now."

"I don't need your opinion on the matter, Trevor. Kindly shut your trap." I looked at the hybrids that had still stepped in "Moreover, hybrids and humans aren't that different to begin with. Yes they have animal ears, yes they are faster and stronger than most humans, but they are still half-humans aren't they?" I stood up "I don't understand why it is so difficult to get along with each other and to hand out with each other."
