Hybrid 15.2: Conditions

"Good evening." He greets.

"How did you-?" The Officer stands up in a hurry.

"I asked a small favor of your government." He smiles "I have something to discuss with...Miss Seyton." He looks at me. I look back and forth between him and the officer.

"There is a necessity for another human to stay in the room." The officer speaks a bit louder than Justice. As if he had the upper hand.

"I don't think that this is necessary." Justice looks at one of the men beside him "If you don't mind, Marcus."

Marcus steps forward and the officer screams so loud that I cover my ears. The hybrid, that was probably a Gorilla hybrid sighs. He had only taken one step forward. Instead of remaining quiet, I walk towards the officer and grab his shoulders.

"I'll be fine. I think it would be better if you make your way out and watch over the whole situation." I talk to him loud and clear "Officer."

He looks like he is about to piss himself. It's pathetic. Still, he nods fervently and makes his way out. I feel some tension release from my shoulders. But the day is not finished yet.

"If you would like to sit down, Miss Seyton." Sir North speaks up and I turn around. He's the only hybrid remaining in the room.

"I'll stay standing if you don't mind." I stay against the one-way glass.

"Nothing will happen to you, Miss Seyton." Justice North takes a chair and sits down. He's a black wolf hybrid. His pointy hears and tail almost undistinguishable from his suit. "You can sit comfortably. Have you been hurt by the hybrids that were present before?" He asks.

"I wasn't. The human officers were the one responsible. Although, them provoking the officers was probably the trigger to such violence." I put a hand on my hips and take a deep breath. I should really get it checked out at the hospital later. It hurts like hell.

"Have you been hurt somewhere else than your head?" He frowns.

"My hips. But I don't think my wounds are the most important right now. You wanted to talk to me about something?" I ask. I would probably be questioned and spied on for the following days, because of this whole situation. It had happened before, but now I felt even more annoyed. I didn't ask for anything and certainly not for this.

"I understand that you are pissed, Miss Seyton-"

"Melody." I interject "Call me Melody. Please." I realize how rude I was. This was the big boss. The real big boss something like the President for Humans.

"Melody." He reprimands a smile. "Have you noticed something unusual when you met eyes with Kim Namjoon and Kim Seokjin?" He asks.

I remain quiet. For a long minute.

"Like their eyes turning gold for a second?" I know my voice is barely audible, but from his face turning expressionless I know that this is bigger than I thought it would be. Justice remains quiet and then suddenly stands up. He knocks on the door twice and then looks at me. The door opens to reveal another hybrid. He is looking at Justice.

"Jungkook. Look at her." Justice says.

I frown.

He has rabbit ears. How could a rabbit feel this dangerous? Black ears. Was there a fashion tendance that I missed or what? He turned his head towards me and again. The same phenomenon. His eyes widened for a second. Justice sighed.

"Melody." He called me out "I think you'll have to follow us to Hybrid town." He smiled.

I laugh. Because it is ridiculous.
