EVERYONE had flown out to new york, to ease the stress on lennon over bringing the babies back to LA or anywhere else.

austin was gone back to work in LA because he genuinely wasn't able to take anymore time off of filming.

but olivia was in the apartment now, same with calum, both holding a baby each as lennon watched from afar, just to make sure nothing happened.

"we're such good godparents." calum winked at olivia, making her chuckle.

"yeah but, you're leon's god father and i'm auden's god mother, we have competition." olivia pointed out.

"yeah well.. who's better than me? exactly no one." calum scoffed.

"jacob and grace and their other god parents." lennon added.

"of course they are." olivia said sarcastically.

it went silent for a few minutes, apart from the twins making the odd sound. everyone was in awe of the two tiny humans.

"i wrote like two new songs." lennon muttered, quietly, making olivia snap her head to look at her.

"you what?! lennon that's amazing!" she grinned.

"i had a lot of free time to think about certain things.." she shrugged.

"is this a revenge song?" calum gasped.

"maybe.." she said.

"i'm excited now.. show me the sheets." the blonde asked, watching as lennon opened the writing book.

"set fire to the rain.." she mumbled the lyrics, smiling as she read more. "that is so good."

"thank you." she smiled. flicking the page to the other song. "i started this two years ago but only finished it yesterday."

"i remember this! escapism!" her eyes lit up at the song, remembering how much she had loved it.

"i could never finish it."

"just needed a bit of inspiration." calum nodded, reading the lyrics.

"and i got more than enough, didn't i?" she sarcastically chuckled.

calum and olivia had left a while ago, leaving lennon alone with the babies. she was bored out of her mind because the twins were asleep.

she placed the baby monitor on top of the piano and sat down on the bench, starting to play 'set fire to the rain'

"i let it fall, my heart and as it fell, you rose to claim it. it was dark and i was over.. until you kissed my lips and you saved me,"

she continued on with the song, writing down the keys as she went along. she had always loved writing songs by herself, because she had full control of what she added.

the twins started to cry so she stopped, walking into the connecting room and soothing them.

yellow by coldplay started to play from the alexa in the kitchen, and she smiled, cradling both babies.

"look at the stars, look how they shine for you.." she sang to the quietly, studying their tiny features which basically mirrored austin.

they had her tan skin and her lips, but everything else was austin. the nose, the eyes, the face in general.

but they were so cute, and they made her almost cry because of how cute they were.
