Shit shit shit! I didn't think I pressed that hard fuuuuuuck! "I'll be fine, must've picked at a scap." I lie to my twin, covering it with some ice as a temporary band-aid. Fuck, I know better and if I get up they'll notice. It'll be fine, just a small cut, no biggie.

The rest of the meal went smoothly until it was time to pay the bill. Each of my siblings, Hawks included, offer to pay. Hell Shoto even has Dad's Credit Card to pay with. But they forgot about one person as I quietly handed the waiter my debit card to pay. Yuki, an old friend, was able to start a restaurant with a bit of my help over by where Toya and I used to live. She insisted that I get a portion of the profits, so she puts about 5-10% into the account, not that I really use it. But I do take cash out to pay for the VAS' groceries. Guess the only sign of life from me.

"Thank you, please come again." the young waiter bows, handing my card back to me.

"You little sneak." Natsuo remarks as we leave "Why the hell did you pay?"

"Because I wanted to." I eyeroll, can't I treat my siblings? "Not like you five were going to let any of the others pay so I took it into my own hands. Besides, I was the unexpected guest." gUeSt NoT fAmIlY.

Shut the fuck up. "Still think it would've been funny if Dad paid." Shoto mumbles besides me as we walk to where they have their cars parked.

"Like he'd notice, what 10,000 Yen [about 75 USD]?" Toya asks.

"Almost 12,000 Yen [about 91 USD]." I shrug, kinda a lot for a fifteen year old to pay, but it's not much when it comes to my siblings.

"Toya, Takami, are you two coming back to the house?" Fuyumi asks "I mean, you two might have to explain to Dad and I don't know how he'll take it."

"Just call me Keigo, and I don't mind. Get it out of the way instead of flying around the bush." Hawks smiles, his fingers lacing Toya's as we walk.

"I mean, what's the worst he can do? Tell me that I can't be date my husband, too fucking late jackass." Toya snorts.

When we got to the cars, Shoto and I both wanted to ride with Ha-Keigo and Toya. I just want to because they know it's me so I can kinda relax. Sorry Fuyumi, sorry Natsuo.

"So what the fuck were you doing in Fujiyoshida, Azula?" Toya asks as soon as the doors are shut.

"Clearly I got word of this dinner and had Shoto sneak me in." I reply sarcastically. It's better if he doesn't know.

Shoto chuckles a little from his seat behind Hawks as Toya talks "Haha very funny, seriously 'Zu: What the hell were you doing in Fujiyoshida this late at night in just a sports bra and slacks?"

"It doesn't matter." I sigh, looking out the window as we drive on the expressway. There is no way I am going to talk about it, at least in this setting 'cause I'm willing to bet that Twice at least told Toga or Mr. Compress, or Giran calls Dabi and tells him, then I'll probably have to at least comment on it. But right now, I'm not even mentioning it.

Bvzz Bvzz I glance towards the front hearing Toya's phone vibrate Shit "Damnit, no one talks, got it?" Toya basically orders before answering the phone "What's up Giran?"

Shit shit shit I put my left hand under my thigh as I notice the frost forming, Shoto giving me a worried look as we listen in on Toya's side of the conversation:

"Giran you better not be pulling my damn leg......... Beheaded? Damn, sounds like she was pissed. Calm during after?... Holy Shit..."

Breath Azula, focus on keeping your breathing steady. "Thanks Giran, I'll see ya later." Toya ends the call and leans into the chair.

"What was that about?" Takami asks as Shoto still gives his worried look at me.

"In short, the Queen wanted the roses red." Toya states, not fucking funny, not one fucking bit. Damnit "What do you mean by that, Toya?" Shoto asks, Imma just close my eyes for a sec to maybe clear my head.

"Don't worry about it Sho, it's better if you don't know." our brother replies, thank God. I don't want Shoto to make the connection between earlier and the call from Giran.

At the Todoroki Estate

"Azula, why don't you take your bath first." Fuyumi suggests "I'll bring some spare clothes for you to sleep in."

"Okay, thank you." I bow slightly as Shoto offers to show me where the bath is. I mean he technically doesn't really need to since it doesn't look like much has changed since I've been gone. But gotta keep up the act of me being a friend.

"Azula, there's something you're not telling me." Shoto states once we're down the hall a ways. I stay silent, rubbing my wrist, causing my twin to sigh "I'm worried for you 'Zu."

"You don't need to worry Shoto. I'll get by." I want to say that I'll be fine, but- I don't know if I will be.

"Getting by isn't the same as being okay Sis."

I bite the inside of my cheek again, this time causing it to bleed as I tap my thigh lightly "I can't tell you little brother." the little code we made up as kids, but I doubt he remembers it.

"Why can't you?" Shoto asks aloud, stopping in the middle of the hall and looking me in the eyes, "Why? You're my twin, I want, no, need to make sure you're okay and help you if you're not."

"I'm sorry Shoto, but I can't." I tell him, I knew it was a bad idea to come. I should've just driven back to HQ or something, anywhere but here.

"Why? Is someone threatening you to keep quiet? Because if someone is planning to kill you-"

"I killed someone!" I blurted out before saying softly "I killed someone, and I didn't want to jeopardize your well being, or future for that matter, just because I killed someone and you knew."

Shoto goes quiet, really quiet, for a solid minute before I walk off to bathe.

Okay, I'm a little sorry for the angst. Fair warning: this is probably just the beginning. I'm not sure, sometimes the story writes itself ya know?
