"I want to spend some more time with my mate hyung.",Taehyung declared, eyes staring at jungkook.
"Oh okay. We will leave now to give you two some privacy.", yoongi uttered winking at taehyung .
As soon as Jimin and Yoongi left the garden, Taehyung turned facing Jungkook, eyes speaking unspoken words.
"There's a lake near by. We will have to cross the hanging bridge and reach the opposite side where we can watch the nature at it's best.", Jungkook said, unsure wether he guessed the alpha's inner turmoil right.
"Okay sure."
With that Taehyung started walking ahead taking steps as slow as he can so that the younger would be able to catch up with him.
Although the alpha was walking slow, it was still difficult for the omega who was almost running to walk side by side with the alpha.
At the end Jungkook just gave up and clutched the alpha's forearm linking it with his own which made the alpha to halt but again began walking without uttering a single word.
A small smile appeared on the alpha's lips which went unnoticed by the omega who was busy viewing the surroundings.
When they reached at the bridge, Jungkook left Taehyung's hand as the bridge was too narrow to fit two people walking side by side.
Taehyung felt warmth leave his body but he knew that the omega was correct.
They both started taking careful steps on the bridge, Jungkook walking ahead followed by Taehyung.
The bridge was tied with wooden plank and soot which made it a little unstable.
As they were walking, at one point Jungkook being a clumsy person almost lost his balance. Taehyung was quick with his reflexes, getting a hold of Jungkook's one hand while the other hand rested on the omega's waist.
Tingles run down Jungkook's body seeing how close the alpha is holding him towards his body.
When taehyung realised their close proximity, he quickly left the omega's body helping Jungkook to gain a proper balance.
"Be careful Jungkook", Taehyung advised clearing his throat.
"Sorry alpha. I will be careful from now onwards.", Jungkook assured giving Taehyung a sheepish smile.
Soon both the mates reached the lake taking a seat at the bank.
The omega was fiddling with his fingers that rested on his laps not knowing how to start a conversation with the alpha.
The silence between them was soothing with both of them basking in to each others smell. Understanding the inner turmoil of the omega, taehyung decided to break the silence.
"Tell me something about yourself Jungkook.", Taehyung requested looking at the omega.
"Umm... I am a second year political science student. I am the only son of the head alpha of Red moon pack. I am twenty-one years old. I like painting and dancing a lot. Mom says that I cook well so it could also be considered. Jimin is my best friend, we know each other since we were six."
Taehung was shocked when Jungkook said that he is the head alpha's son whom he is going to meet tomorrow. He wanted to tell Jungkook about the meeting with the head alpha but kept it a secret. Thinking maybe he will get to witness the Omega's surprised face when he see's him tomorrow at the pack house.
"What about you alpha? ", Jungkook asked out of curiosity.
"I am the head alpha of Blue moon pack and CEO of Kim enterprise. I am twenty-eight years old. I have majored in arts along with a diploma in geopolitics. I like reading books and watching news.", the alpha informed.
"Many people find me rude and cold by judging my appearance and the fact that I'm a trueblood adds to it. I am not a socially active person. I spent most of my time at work.", Taehyung continued.
"First of all , I don't find you rude at all. Yes, you may seem cold in the beginning but it is who you are and how you are shaped into so you don't need to change for others. Moreover, speaking about me, I am a happy go lucky person. My main aim in life is to make people happy." jungkook said smiling at Taehyung.
"Alpha what is your favourite food? Mine is fried chicken."
"I like Japache with less spice. I have low spice tollerance."
The omega mentally noted down all the information.
"What are your expectations from your mate alpha? ", Jungkook couldn't help but ask.
"I have waited for my mate for seven years Jungkook. I used to go to sleep thinking that tomorrow I will find my mate, which didn't really happen. Over the years, I thought I would never be able to find my mate although I knew you were somewhere around the globe. It might be only seven years for other people but for a trueblood, seven years without their mate are like seven hundred years of loneliness and emptiness as if a part of you is missing. I reluctantly used to attend public events, balls in the hope of finding my mate. Even today I had come with a hope of finding my mate and I did." Taehyung sighed.
"I do not want you to behave according to my liking Jungkook. I want you to be yourself. Moon goddess have fated you to me because of our compatibility and loyalty with each other. I don't want to change anything about you. I will like you and love you the way you are Jungkook, only if you give me a chance that is.", Taehyung completed.
"I would like you to love me alpha. And I am sorry you had to wait for so many years to find me. I will make sure to overcome all these years of loneliness you had to pay alpha.", Jungkook determined.
Looking at the way he spoke with determination showing in his eyes, Taehyung couldn't help but feel proud of his omega.
"I think its too late Jungkook. We need to leave before it gets too dark. ", Taehung said getting up, holding a hand out for the omega to hold.
"I will drop you at the packhouse."
Both the mates jumped in to taehyung's car, Jungkook taking the passenger seat while the alpha drives.
The whole time, Jungkook had a smile plastered on his lips that didn't go unnoticed by the alpha.
Soon the car came at hault in front a huge wooden gate of the packhouse.
Jungkook turned towards the alpha uttering a small thank you before getting down the car.
"I will see you soon Jungkook."
"I will be waiting alpha.", Jungkook exclaimed, a shy smile dancing on his lips.
With that the omega entered the gates but not before turning back and waving his hands as a final good bye to the alpha.
