Erin proposed me a drink. I decided to follow my sister's advices to be more sociable. I said yes.
Erin led me to the kitchen. He is rummaging through an old cupboard, where a mini-bar seems to be hidden.
He asked me what I wanted to drink. I answered « whisky » because it was the only one coming to my mind.
But I know I hate whisky.
Don't let him know, cool girls don't tell when they dislike things.
- You want the same as me ? Erin asks.
- Um...yes.
He hesitates a moment. Then, he adds :
- Try it before.
Before I realise what he just said, Erin hands me his glass. Surprisingly, I don't hesitate. I bring it to my lips and let the liquor run down my throat.
It is the most disgusting thing I ever tasted.
I can't help but wince as the liquid settles in my taste buds. My face makes Erin laugh softly.
It is the first time I see him smiling. And I don't know why, I can't help but smile with him.
His glass is still against my lips, and suddenly, something in his eyes begins to fire.
I give him back his glass, and do everything to make our fingers touch. I can't explain why, but I wanted it.
I kind of liked it.
Erin doesn't stop looking at me in the eyes. I am feeling strange, now. Not bad, but strange.
Slowly, he comes up to me and gives me my glass, while whispering in my ear :
- Come with me.
