ERIN

Today is a good day. I could feel it. Me and my boys could feel it : this feeling of excitment.
I was so fucking excited for this.
I entered first into the shop, Malcolm and the boys were just behind me. I saluated a cashier lady, then I inserted into the first shelf I saw. It was full of attractive cans.
Malcolm hit my shoulder, showing me a red beans' can :
- Look, brother. We never tried this one, did we ?
- Don't think so, put it in the trolley, I said.
We don't have any trolley, but nobody seems to notice it. Two cans slided into Malcolm's pocket discretely. I did the same with a can of corn, that I put in my pocket. A second one in a bag – the one I have asked earlier to the casheer lady.
Slowly, progressively, the shelf got empty. But suddenly, I saw one of the boys' facial expression change drastically : he was looking embarrassed.
- Guys, we have to go, he whispered.
I turned over.
A girl was standing there, staring at us, frowning.
She saw us.
And she looks angry.
I was preparing myself to run out of the supermarket, when she said :
- Erin. You have ten seconds to put down all of this now.
And these few words came as a blow to me. This foreign accent. I know it.
The Angel.
- Erin, we should go, Malcolm whistled.
- Wait. Stay here, I deal with that, I declared by approaching her.
When I was walking for her, I saw her eyes getting round and bigger.
- Hey, Angel.
