She laughed. Her laugh was soft and melodious. It instantly dived me in a good mood.
- I mean...what are your hobbies ?
- I love music.
She crawled into the bed to get closer to me.
- What kind of music ?
- I sing Rnb, mostly.
- You...sing ?
- Yes.
- For real ?
She was looking surprised, quite impressed. Her big round eyes were making me hard. In every sense of the word.
- And, do you sing when you're alone or in public ?
- Both. Malcolm has an uncle who rent us a small club, sometimes. There, there are a scene, some baffles and a microphone.
- Oh, really ? Wow !
It felt good. Talking to someone about music, and the fact that that someone looks truly interested by it, it feels so good.
- And...singing in front of a crowded room...how do you deal with the fear ? she continues.
- I don't really deal with it. I'm not already at ease with the fact of singing in live, but I think I'm gonna get used to it, one day.
- So, that's the job you want to keep ? You want to make a living from singing ?
Her question blocked me. Jo stayed quiet a moment. What is she thinking about ?
- You think it's stupid, huh ? I asked.
- Not at all. I also have big dreams regarding my career, that people loooooove to broke, by the way.
