Amara has been living in London for about a year now with her friend Ashley. One night after work when both girls go for for some dinner and Drinks they run into Joseph Quinn. He decides to go sit and talk with the girls and strike up a conversation...
I wake up to my alarm going off so I reach out and turn it off. I feel Joseph stir next to me and turn around to find him looking right at me.
"Did you sleep okay ?" He asks me "I slept ok, it definitely helped to have you here. Thank you." "Of course darling I wanted to make sure you were okay ."
I lean down and place my head on his bare chest as he wraps his arms around me.
"As much as I would love to lay in bed and cuddle with you all day I do believe you need to shower and get ready for work." I groan. "I know." I say pulling my head off him and giving him a quick kiss. "I won't be long so if you want to to take one there's time before I have to go." "Speaking of going let me take you and Ashley to work." "But that's the opposite direction of your place." "I know but I'm here and I have my car and you guys won't have to get on the bus today." "Alright again thank you." "Your welcome." He says with a smile.
I get up grabbing my phone and head into the bathroom. I turn my Spotify playlist and get into the shower and quickly wash up. Once I'm finished I step out of the shower and wrap myself up with a towel and blow dry my hair. When I turn the dryer off I hear Linkin parks 'one more light' come on and right away Nicole pops into my head and I instantly start to well up with tears. I sit down on the toilet and silently cry till I hear a nock on the door.
"Amara are you alright ?" I almost don't answer but I know I should he's been so sweet and helpful that I can't lie to him. "No." Is all I manage to say The door opens up and I look up and see Joseph come over to me. He kneels down in front of me and take my hands in his.
"The song got to you didn't it?" I shake my head. "I thought so, I heard it start playing and wanted to check on you." "I can't stop thinking about her." "I know, maybe you should stay home today." "No I can't I have to go in today." He sighs and stands up then grabs my phone and turns it off and looks back to me. "You sure?" "Yeah,"
He comes back over to me taking my hands again and helps me stands up.
"Promise me that if you get to overwhelmed you will either take time to calm down or go home early." "I promise." He kisses my head then looks down at me. "Finish getting ready in here and I'll get a quick shower when your done." "You can get in now I wanna get dressed I'll finish up hair when your done." I give him a quick kiss and leave the bathroom so he can get in.
I grab some underwear and look through my closet for some cloths. God I don't feel like getting dressed or even going but I have to. I finally find something and place it on my bed then start and get dressed.

Once done the bathroom door opens and Joseph steps out with only a towel rapped around his waist. I can't help but admire how wonderful he looks with wet hair a bare chest and only in a towel. I think I'm always going to love seeing him like this.
