Amara has been living in London for about a year now with her friend Ashley. One night after work when both girls go for for some dinner and Drinks they run into Joseph Quinn. He decides to go sit and talk with the girls and strike up a conversation...
The next few weeks pass by fast thats for sure. Joseph is now home and he has no work the rest of this year so we're able to sped lots of time together. Its been wonderful. We got the restraining order on Heather and she should be leaving us alone. Joseph said he wouldn't press charges if she agreed to stay away and never try anything again. So we will see how this goes but were definitely more relaxed but we still will keep our guard up.
Today is Christmas Eve and ill be heading over to meet Joseph parents. Im definitely nervous for this. Though they seam like such lovely people but they are still his parents. I'll be getting ready at home and I really need to find a good outfit.
Joseph and I also will be spending Christmas at his place along with Ashley and Logan. They are actually going to stay over in a guest room at Joseph's so we can all get up and open presents together and the guys are going to make us breakfast. Once me and Joseph are done at his parents place ill text Ashley and her and Logan will head over to Josephs. Ashley is excited for this since its just me and her normally for Christmas and Logan is another one who does Christmas Eve with his family so he wasn't going to do anything really for Christmas besides be with Ashley so this is going to be a good Christmas holiday. I even got us all matching pajamas because I thought it would something fun to do. I havent told Joseph yet so it will be a surprise for both him and Logan.
I had just finished with my shower and im going through my closet looking through all my outfits. I find a deep red long sweater some black leggings and brown ankle boots. This will be perfect to meet his parents in. Not revealing very classy as well.

Once I pick this out I put it on my bed and head back into my bathroom turning my music up. I dry my hair and end up curling it a bit then put on some natural makeup again I dont want or need to go over the top. As im getting ready I am getting a bit more nervous. I know I shouldn't be nervous from what he said their very nice but still its a big deal to get to this point and I know this is how Joseph felt last month when he meet my parents.
I finish up what I need to do and sprits on some of my perfume that Joseph loves. I turn the music off and grab my phone checking the time and see I have 30 minutes till Joseph is here and then an hour after that we have to take the train to his parents house. I head down stairs to see Ashley sitting on the couch scrolling on her phone and I sit down next to her.
"So are you nervous to meat Logan's parents?" I ask her. She looks up to me and rolls her eyes playfully knowing that i know the answer to that question already. "Yeah we haven't been dating long and im not sure this is to soon." I just smile at Ashley. "Your fine its been like what 3 months since you guys started hanging out then dating. So what." "You and Jospeh have been dating for 6 months now and you're just meeting his." "Well not officially 6 months but yeah yeah. And hes a busy guy anyway so setting up a dinner can be hard and this is kinda a good way anyway it's Christmas Eve good time to meet parents." I say with a smile and she laughs. "Yeah I know you're right." She says then she looks me over. "You look really cute Amara." "Why thank you. When are you getting ready?" "I was actually going to get up when you came down. I need to get into the shower." "Well dont let me stop you go get all pretty for Logan and his parents." She chuckles and gets off the couch then heads up the stairs going to her room.
