44. Blocked Number and Assault

It's another Thursday at work. Joseph left for a con the other day and he wont be home till Monday or Tuesday. We did have a very good weekend when I stayed there. We didn't do much but we spend a lot of time in the bedroom just enjoying each other's company, touch or we were watching tv. It was the perfect weekend.

Right now I'm typing away at my computer when my phone starts to vibrate. I flip it over and see the number is blocked so I set it down and ignore it. Im not going to answer a blocked number so I shake my head and keep working. After another 10 minutes my phone starts to vibrate again. I flip it over once more and again it's a blocked number. I turn it back over and just keep working. If this continues im going to end up just turning the phone off for a while.

"Hey girl." I hear Ashley say from my door.
"Oh hey whats up?" I say looking up from my computer.
"Time for lunch come on we need to eat."
I smile and get up leaving my phone behind for once and we head to the brake room grabbing our food then siting down at a table with Beth and Katie.

"How's your day going?" I ask the girls at the table.
"Its good todays seams to be going a bit slow though." Beth says taking a bite from her salad.
"Yeah it is." Ashley says
"I feel like that happens a lot with Thursdays." I say
All the girls give a little laugh.
"I'll agree." Katie says.
"So Ashley hows this guy your seeing?" Beth asks with a smile on her face.
I smile as we all look at Ashley who's face flushes. No one knows she seeing Joseph's friend yet.
"We're doing good. He's a very sweet guy."
"Im really happy for you Ash." I say to her.
"Thanks Amara."
"What about you and Joseph?" Katie says with a smirk as she turns her attention to me.
"We're doing very good. He's just as sweet as everyone thinks he is."
"How long have you been seeing him?" Beth asks.
"Um 3 months well at least I've known him for 3 months met him in July, together maybe 2 or a little over 2."
"You guys are cute together." Katie says.
I blush a little at her comment. "Thanks."

We talk some more and finish our food then I head back to my office and pick up my phone to check it. When I unlock it I see 4 missed calls and all are blocked. I check and see that there are no voicemails so now im just confused. I sigh and place my phone down then get back to work. I dont have to think about this right now I need to get my work done it's more important anyway.

By the time the work day is finally over I've had a few more unknown calls and one voice mail of just nothing. Thats right nothing no voice or breathing or anything. Its really getting on my nerves. Ashley and I head home and both get changed into come comfortable cloths then shes goes into the kitchen to make dinner and I sit down in the living room with a glass of wine in my hand putting on Guardians of the galaxy. Gotta love some Chris Pratt and this movie is hilarious and written so well.

Once dinner is ready me and Ashley go and sit at the dinner table and start to enjoy our food. After only a few bites of the chicken my phone goes off with a text I pick it up and look to see another picture sent to me of me and Joseph once more enjoying each other's touch. It's an old one from the summer but I haven't seen this one. My face falls and the message under it say:

Don't forget I'm still have these 😏

"You ok Amara?" I hear Ashley asks me.
"No that person sent me another picture I thought maybe they just gave up." I say putting my phone down with a little more force behind it.
"You need to call the police let them know."
"Why?" I say looking over at her. "They haven't done anything they haven't found out anything. I mean neither have we but still they should be able to trace this shit." I say aggravated.
"Hey its ok to fell that way, but look this person haven't done anything so it looks like their all talk." She says trying to calm me down.
"Maybe not yet but they still have those photos it's creepy Ashley. I didnt think id deal with something like this its so gross."
She shakes her head in agreement. "Will figure it out. I need to get ahold of Jen see if she learned anything from Heathers room mate."
"She message me last week says the roommate isn't sure shes just being more secretive but she hasn't found anything out. She did say that Heather's definitely obsessed with Joseph and reads every article about him and me."
"Damn she really is crazy." Ashley says shaking her head.
"Tell me about it." I say and sigh then place my fork on my plate. "You know im not that hungry now im going to go to my room clean it up a bit im so sorry Ash." I say getting up.
"Are you sure Amara."
"Yeah it's ok I just wanna be alone for a bit."
"Ok well im here if you need anything."
