Shinichi frowned "If only it was that easy" He sighed "With everything weird that happens in my life, I'd rather live near Haibara" The tiny scientist had helped him countless times. It was also easier to just see her instead of going to the hospital. Staying at hospitals was often tedious, forcing him to stay even after he was well enough to just stay in the comfort of his own home. He grinned "The professor's house is specially modified, he and Haibara can't just move somewhere else permanently so easily"

"Ah" Kaito nodded, understanding the value of living near the two scientists "I could help design their new home?" Their own home could just be a simple one since he wasn't going to go back to being Kaitou Kid again. Kaitou Kid was dead and NEVER coming back. Kaito didn't really care about the Crows anymore, he'd done his part and going back to being an internationally wanted jewel thief was just asking for trouble that he absolutely didn't need. Plus... it would just hurt both Aoko and Keibu. Though maybe he should give Keibu a goodbye message so he doesn't go crazy?

Azure brightened at the offer "That might work..." But Ai was also very stubborn, would she be willing to move? There wasn't any danger to prompt her into changing locations. While there was absolutely no way he would ever attempt to purposely make Ai feel unsafe, maybe he'd be able to convince her if he bribed her with the newest fashion items that she wanted? She really liked expensive stuff... Or she just took pleasure in emptying his wallet, both were viable options.

Kaito smiled, eyes soft "I'm great at building things and you're unfairly rich. The prospect of her obtaining her dream home and lab should entice her?" He shrugged "If nothing else, your professor would probably really like new stuff" The tiny scientist was still keeping the guy very far away from both him AND Shinichi. Maybe this offer could shorten the distance? It wasn't good that the sleuth was being kept away from someone important to him just because he was associated with himself.

The sleuth gave a thoughtful hum "It's possible, and I've been dabbling in the stock markets to cushion my bank account"

"Why would you need to do that?" Kaito asked incredulously "You're filthy rich"

Shinichi smirked "True, but one does not stay rich if all they end up doing is spending money instead of earning it" He couldn't count on his parents money forever. Eventually they would break their ties, it was just inevitable. Their personalities just clashed way too much and his parents liked to decide things for him a lot "While I'm still payed a pretty yen, it's still not enough for me to always live the 'Filthy Rich' lifestyle" He paused for a moment "I really like the lifestyle, it's convenient" Money was power and power got things done.

Red eyes widened with surprise as a playful smile lit up Kaito's face "Oh!" He clapped his hands "I've never actually heard you claim to like money so much" Sure he'd never hidden the knowledge of his wealth, but he sure as hell never stated how much he liked it!

"Of course I do" Shinichi breathed "I'm used to it so suddenly not having a lot of money would feel weird"

Kaito tilted his head "But wasn't that the case when you were Conan?" The Mouris were not rich, often the very opposite of rich because of Ran's father.

Shinichi sighed "Everything was weird when I was Conan, my whole world was turned upside down and I had very little control of anything" His first case as Conan had been so eye opening. He really could have gotten beaten to death if Ran hadn't saved him. Children were so frail compared to adults or even teens. With his tiny size, it was so very easy for him to just be picked up, grabbed, or just kicked out of the way. All of which had happened to Conan.

Brows slightly pinched with sympathy, Kaito nodded in understanding "I guess money was the least of your problems back then" He took the sleuth's hand and raised it a bit "Can I kiss you?" He inquired, not wanting to push boundaries. He would be more active in making sure Shinichi kept as much control as possible.

Ears and cheeks flushing a pretty pink tint, Shinichi stuttered a bit over his response "Sure" His cheeks warmed even further when Kaito placed a soft kiss on his hand.

Kaito smiled at the reaction, he'll be sticking with hand kisses for now. Judging by the sleuth's reaction. he wouldn't be able to handle a full on kiss just yet. That was cute, and he was willing to wait until Shinichi was ready. The last thing he wanted to do was hurt the other "You make me happy" He blurted out without thinking.

Shinichi managed to push back his blush just a bit "That's good, I want you to be happy" And alive, if before he would have been terribly upset if the other died, now he'd be heartbroken.

This time it was Kaito's time to blush, unused to such sweet words being directed towards himself "When do you think the pizza will get here?" He inquired, looking away. Pizza was supposed to be a quick and easy meal, so it should have arrived by now if the sleuth had been telling the truth.

The sleuth allowed the subject change. Seeing Kaito flustered was kinda nice. It was much better than seeing him stressed and upset. He pulled out his phone, frowning in confusion "The delivery tracking is saying that the car is currently in a river..."

"It's just glitching" Kaito spoke, tone even. Perking up when the doorbell rang. Thank god. His boyfriend isn't completely unlucky. It would have been very upsetting if them ordering pizza had truly ended up in a case.

"I don't usually watch the tracking just for this very reason" Shinichi breathed, fishing out his wallet as he headed to the door. If he didn't know, then he wouldn't become suspicious.

Me: Hmmm, will they move?

o-o procrastinating because of 'The grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation' and 'Mo Dao Zu Shi' ... basically same thing, I read the Chinese manga and watched the animated version. I bought the novel books but cant read them until the final book is translated... Bought the animated show too online

So much fanfiction to comb through too... Ah if only the animated version wasn't censored of the gay kisses (China duh) I loved both versions >~< so I'll love the original novel too
