My Maybe (Poem)

Maybe..

Maybe it is just not our time today.. 
Maybe we have to walk on separate ways.. 
Maybe our love wasn't meant to stay for a moment..
Or maybe, we have to hide these feelings in silence..
Maybe we should make our dreams the first priority..
Or maybe, we have to find other else to make us feel better and happy.. 
Maybe we rather chase the impossible.. 
To make what we had yesterday to be possible..

But maybe, we have to let things go.. 
Maybe, to be together, is isn't so..
Maybe, it's better off this way..
Maybe we have to look away.. And maybe, we're just maybe's..
Only a make believe, never a reality..

But I hope, one day, things will work out, we'll have another shot, we'll find each other in the crowd..
And there, right there, we'll meet again.. 
Crossing paths, and never pretend.. 
But, maybe, it's just maybe.. 
Maybe.. 
For you and me..
