Sunset and You (Poem)

Let's take a walk along the shore
Near the place we've met before
With our hands intertwined, and laughter we can't hide
Then let me hold you close till we reach the moonlight..

As the birds flew by with the peach-coloured sky
I'll capture the beautiful scene with your genuine smile
These stolen moments are to keep for a lifetime
And do promise that you'll always stay here by my side..

After the tiring hours, come and sit with me on the sand
Lay your head on my shoulder, we have a long time to spend
Look at the wide ocean, feel its calmness and its deep
Just like this love I have for you, it's all yours to keep..

I'll recite you a poem that I wrote with my heart
Something about lovers who wished to never ever be apart
Whisper your thoughts in my ears, after I say those words
And so you know, you're more than just my world..

Then I'll sing you a song that I've made with all my soul
To comfort you with the warmth it could give when you're feeling cold
I hope you'll appreciate the little things I do for you
Smallest they may be, but those were honest and true..

As time passes, now the sun is off to set
My heart beats faster for the fascination that I'm about to witness
But of all the shared moments, those were just one of a few
Because there's no greater feeling than watching the sunset and at the same time loving your perfect view.. 

Simply means loving who captivated you..
Simply means loving the sunset with you..
And simply means, loving someone like you..
