I once, mistaken love from pain too. I had a painful past. But to tell the least, I realized that love was much more different from the pain we have. Love is a strong positive and romantic feeling, could be lasting or genuine, but could be short-termed yet it lingers. Pain, is the cause of being taken for granted, being hated, being ignored, and being forgotten. It's not love. It's not the love that keeps ourselves from avoiding the love itself, but the pain that remains in our memory, in our hearts, which are not yet healing.
