If writing a song could make me smile
I'd like to write one, whenever I cry
If writing a song could make someone believe
I would like to write a love 'til infinity

If someone would just care
For someone like me who's lonely
So lonely and all alone
In writing my song

If writing a song could make me blind
I'd like to write one, cause now you're not mine
If writing a song could stop me from loving
I would like to write a tale of letting go a feeling

If I could just turn back time
The time when I'm not lonely
Not lonely and not alone
In writing my song..

If writing a song could erase my memories
I'd like to write one, to forget how you left me
If writing a song could bring back a life
I'd like to write one, to turn back the time

If I have just stopped the sun
Stop the sun from setting
Then you would have not left me
And we'll continue our song..

If writing a song could bring you back to me
Then, I would like to write a never ending story
If writing a song could be so easy
I'd like to write one, even now you're gone..
