Day three of jatharai; 6:30 am, back yard of Temple:
"Chitti let me carry it.." Aditya took the turmeric packet from her.
"You just sit and instruct us." Karthik said to Meenakshi.
Meenakshi was done with them! It's just a 100grms turmeric powder! And here they are doing over acting!!
Today before she woke up, Karthik was awake and made Kushi to bath. Even Aditya was awake and got ready. Her fainting yesterday made them to let her rest today.
Meenakshi was happy that they lent their hand in help, but they are making it difficult to her now. Meenakshi buried her face in her hands to control her frustration.
"What happened? Does your head hurts??" Karthik saw Meenakshi holding her head.
"Are you hurt chitti???" Aditya as came towards her.
"I'm done! You, sit there.." She said to Aditya and pointed a seat near the tree. "And mama, you change yourself into dry clothes first!" Said pointing towards his wet clothes.
As this village practice and tradition, one who is doing prasadam should take bath in Temples lake and Karthik as the family head he took bath just now.
"And don't middle in my work" Meenakshi inserted her pallu and hip pleats around her waist. She started her work.
Seeing Meenakshi in anger, they both didn't tried to middle in her work but Aditya helped her in lifting the heavy things, or passing the items.
Karthik supported himself to a temple pillar and smiled at her. She was more energetic then yesterday. He went to change himself in a dry clothes.
Before main poojai starts in the temple, Meenakshi completed doing prasadam. She made puliyodharai. As it was early morning and sun didn't rise till, the heat was less for them to cook in traditional stove.
Meenakshi took the blessings from the deity idol and stood near the prasadam queue to distribute the prasadam. Even Sindhu family stood beside her.
