"will you all please just fucking hurry up, I want to leave before the sun rises" Xander screeched from across the road.
"Xander, I swear all you've done tonight is whine" Tommy laughed at him, much to Xander's dismay.
"oh leave him be, he's only a baby and it's way past his bedtime" Jax poked at Tommy, causing him to laugh even harder.
"fuck you both" Xander snared, growing more aggravated by the second.
I shook my head at the three of them. It was never straight forward when we were all involved in doing something.
"They're all babies" Christian rolled his eyes.
He, like Xander, was also in a foul mood. We'd taken him away from Mila tonight.
I'd never met Mila but apparently she's not fond of me pulling him away from her all the time.
Mila can get over herself though, because he was mine first. She's lucky i've been kind enough to share him.
"oh don't take it to heart Xander, we-" Tommy's voice was silenced by the echo of gunshots. We all fell to the ground immediately but it had been too late.
Tommy's eyes stared lifelessly into mine from across the way. My body froze as I watched blood pour from the mark centred on his head.
"fuck" Christian seethed from beside me. I roll around to see him griping tightly to his leg which had blood rushing from it.
"shit" I mutter, wrapping my jacket tightly around him, trying to reduce blood loss.
"Xander?" I called out, praying to God he was alright.
"i'm fine, Jax is fine, Tommy is" he went quiet for a moment.
"I fear Tommy is not fine"
I could pretty much see that but having him confirm it was like being hit by a car.
"where'd that come from?" Greyson appeared behind me.
"I don't fucking know, so get down" I pull him towards the ground.
"oh my God he's fucking dead, Xander he's dead" Jax began shouting at the top of his lungs.
I could hear Xander trying to hush him but Jax couldn't be silenced.
I tried looking around me but everything was so dark, it would be impossible to see a shooter at this point. That's saying they're still around.
"it came from behind" Christian groaned from beside me, clearly in agony.
I turned around to see two fuckers standing behind us.
"how fucking stupid" I snap as I jump to my feet.
"Greyson come on"
He followed closely behind me as we chased the two idiots through the abandoned warehouse.
They were very obviously inexperienced and stupid. It was clear in their actions.
They kept firing at us but it only took us a second before we had them on the ground and were ripping their hoods down.
Like I suspected, they were probably younger than Xander.
The kid's face dropped when he saw me, "shit" he whispered to himself.
"are you even old enough to swear yet?" I grip his collar and pull him up to my height.
"I was aiming for you, you son of a bitch" he spat at me.
"well you fucking missed" I slam him against the wall
"didn't miss your brother though" he smirked.
I was angry now, coming at me was one thing but going after my younger brother was a whole other fucking issue.
"you hit two trees dumbass," his face dropped,
I wasn't about to let him have the satisfaction of knowing that he'd actually hit one of us fatally.
