He came outside, somehow more pissed off than when he went in.
"everything okay?"

Why the fuck did I ask that?

"everything's fine" he muttered before getting into the car.
I quickly followed suit and got in the other side.
I'd been standing outside the whole time and the breeze had led me to forget the actual temperature.
As soon as my skin hit the car seat... I remembered.

"shit" I hissed, bouncing back out of the car.

"what?" he looked at me with mild panic on his face.

"i'm gonna have fucking 3rd degree burns on the back of my legs after that" I hop around, trying to take my mind off the stinging sensation.

"oh" he began to laugh

"it's not funny" I glare

"I disagree"  he grinned at me before stepping out of the car again.

I watched as he pulled his coat from the back of the car and placed it on my seat.
"there you go, now hurry up so we can get out of here"

I sat back down, being mindful to place my dress under me as I sat, double to protection this time.
"thank you" I give a small nod

He shook his head and laughed.
He wouldn't be laughing if it was him, i'll tell you that for free.

The day actually went by quite fast, I was fucking overjoyed to be home though.
I was disappointed to walk in and find the four of them looking miserable whilst waiting for Nathan.
This house always had to have someone in it ready to give bad news.

I headed up the stairs, trying to make it to my room as fast as possible.
It was like a safe haven at this point.

The bathroom door in the hallway opened causing me to come to an immediate stop.

"oh my, I'm so sorry" a girl with dark hair reached her hands out, "I thought you were someone else"

"oh it's okay, I wasn't watching where I was going" I laugh awkwardly, "are you with one of them?"

"yeah, Christian but it seems he's forgotten i'm here" she seemed annoyed as she peered over the balcony to get a view at the guys below.
They were having a full blown discussion already which seemed to be getting a little heated from the sounds of it.

"are you Mila?" I hesitantly asked

"yeah... how'd you know that?" she turned back around to face me, looking slightly confused

"Christian mentioned a Mila a few times" I replied, "just put two and two together"

"oh" she seemed a little uneasy,

"he never says anything bad obviously" I tried to back track whatever i'd started.

"oh I know that" she laughed a little at my panic, "it's just weird, he never talks about any of this with me, I'm not sure why i'm even here... or where here is for that matter"

"if it makes you feel any better, I don't think any of them talk about what happens here or what they do" I try to sound reassuring but I don't know if it did much.

She shuffled around on the spot, "so you don't know what actually goes on? you're with one of them right?"

"yeah...i'm with one of them, but no, I don't really know what going on most of the time either"

"it's shitty sometimes, like he was fucking shot and he shrugged it off... that just isn't normal"

"I suppose not but it's actually quite common for them"
