I watched her walk away as the regret consumed me.
I couldn't have her.
End off.
"Nate get the fuck down here" My brother's voice rang through out the house.
I groaned as I pulled myself out of bed. I don't know why everything had to start so early.
6:30 in the morning was a fucking joke.
I pushed her dress to the side in my closet, hiding it behind my own clothes. I couldn't even look at it right now without wanting to run down the hallway after her and finish what i'd stupidly started.
"Nate!" Xander called another time
"i'm coming" I sighed as I ran down the stairs whilst still buttoning my shirt.
"had a lie in?" Jax smirked
"what's that face for?" I glared
"oh nothing" he spun around and fell into the chair beside him
"and what's that face for?" I looked over at Xander who was pulling a similar expression
"nothing" he shook his head
"okay then... what is so important that it deemed you shouting at 6:30 in the morning?" I sighed
"Isaac called and said some guy walked in late last night" Xander started talking as he sat next to Jax.
"okay and?"
"apparently the guy knows stuff about dad" he looked away from me as he attempted to hide a smile.
"your telling me this information and not Greyson because..."
The rest of them all looked at me like they were giddy children.
"well he wants to see you and only you" Greyson grinned
"oh fuck right off" I leant against the wall behind me, "i'm not wasting my time on that shit and you all know that"
"he could know something important, you really should go talk to him" Xander was desperately trying to hold himself together
"it's not funny Alexander"
"no... it very much is Nathaniel"
"I have a meeting this morning, I can't go" I huff
"send Bambi" Jax chirped
"no don't send Bambi" Christian finally broke his silence, "Bambi doesn't want to go"
"Bambi's our only option because we all have shit to do" Jax mocked him
"Bambi can't drive right now" Chris snapped
"Bambi can get an uber or..." Jax led on
"or what?" Greyson and Christian said in sync
"he could ask Evangeline..."
"over my dead body" I stood up straight, "we're not involving her in any of this shit"
"it's not a bad idea" Xander blinked, "isn't she going out anyways?"
"she's not a chauffeur"
"no" Grey chimed in, "but she's literally going where he needs to go"
"she's not taking anyone anywhere because i'm going to the meeting, that guy can wait if he's that desperate to talk to me" I sighed
"he said he'd be gone by 11 if you didn't show up" Xander replied bluntly
"of course he did" I roll my eyes, "guess he's not seeing me then"
