Chapter 2||The bonfire with more questions

I was asleep dreaming about well my mom or what I thought would be her I always us to draw pictures of what I thought she would be like she would have brown hair like me and maybe brown eyes she probably has a big smile on her face whenever she would see me. I sometimes would draw pictures of newt and chuck just all the pictures that came to my mind my note book came with the letter and the other stuff that was in my purse when I came up in the box. suddenly I felt a pair of arms wrap around me and a light kiss on my cheek "wake up love it's time for the bonfire....." newt whispered in my ear and helped me out of bed. "I'm glad you got your rest for your voice.."he whispered softly and rubbed my shoulders I smiled up at him "mhm. I'm ready for tonight." I said smiling "we gotta give the greenie the welcome song" he said with a huge grin on his face. 

"absolutely not." I frowned "Oh come on the greenie will love it." newt whined. "he doesn't seem to like anything." I groaned he gave me a look that said "pleaseeeee" I nodded and walked out the hut with him. 

as me and newt walked over to the bonfire we could see gally fighting everyone who was dumb enough to sign up, the builders were flexing their non extinct muscles.

the med jacks we're drinking as much as they could because a lot of clumsy dumbass's were going to the get hurt tomorrow.

the cooks were working the night at least fry was all the other cooks were teasing fry about having to work.

everyone else was siting around the fire place talking. except the runners who were sitting in the back eating they were tired but so was I! I was there with them and here I am being social! god I hate being a runner and second in command. 

then there was the greenie still siting with everyone but less close to all the action. as me and newt looked around I grabbed his arm and lead him to the greenie who looked like he needed some company. "hey greenie" I smiled as newt sat down and I got in his lap "so how was your first day?" I asked with a smile the greenie just gave me awkward smile "ahhhhh that bad aye?" newt said with a chuckle the greenie smiled a little bit "a drink might help with that" I said with a grin and handed him gally's "special recipe" me and newt held our laughter as he put it to his lips and took a sip.....and immediately spit it out "holy.....what is in that crap!"he said with disgust making me and newts laughing like crazy people "gally's recipe we give it to the greenies as a prank partly but it also helps you to remember your name" his face sitfed when he heard gally's name "well he's still a dick" he said bluntly. I was trying so hard not to agree with him or say anything mean. it was like newt could read my mind because he gave me a "don't do it" look I cleared my throat and turned to newt to say something "well greenie he saved you life." newt said awkward life. "from what whats out there?" he asked I rolled my eyes jesus christ no more questions please. 

he looked at me like I was supposed to answer it "aye man I'm off bother newt with this shit." I said and laid back in newts lap. he looked down at me with a frown that I put him with the greenie. "bye newtie I'm going to hang out with minho for a sec." I said and gave him a kiss on his cheek. he gave me a small smile and kissed me back and let me leave.

I walked over to minho and sat with him and ben "hey loners" I said with a smirk "shut up rory" my back hurts" minho scawled "jeez" I said and sat closer to them. "how's the greenie rory?" ben asked "he's fine and he's less of a pain now." I said and looked back at him and newt talking. 

 alby suddenly stood up and called for everyone's attention "everyone gather round the fire place its time for aurora to sing." he called out. oh hell now I gotta sing. gladers all over me were cheering a hollering out. newt came over and helped me up and held my hand. "go on love." he whispered as the gladers started to play the guitars and drums we made. I started the song out and singed.

when I finished the song everyone started to clap and newt pulled me in a hug "amazing as always love" he whispered and smirked as everyone cheered and the greenie looked happier. 

we stayed out for little while longer. and then newt walked me back to my hut and we fell asleep cuddling.
