positive test. positive....positive. my test. its positive. no but that can't be right. it just can't be you know they probably got it wrong right? its probably wrong. right? 

"hey wait up!" I shouted out the clearly frustrated doctor who dropped my test off. he turned around seeming like he would almost would rather be anywhere but here with me.

"yes mrs agnes?" he asked with a embarrassed tone. "this isn't right. I'm not pregnant. can we do a retest?" I asked with my arms folded. 

"mrs agnes there was no mistake, I know your nervous but we can easily get rid of the baby. and of you want to keep it I'm sure the father will stay around right?" 

yeah he will that's what scars me. I wish he wouldn't stay sometimes. but he always will.  maybe some part of me loves that but right now that's the last thing I need. 

"just re test me its wrong." I scoffed and handed him back the test. he shook his head as he took the test. "alright we can retest as much as you want but it will say the sa-"

"so when can I get re tested?"

"briar-"

"when can I?"

"it will be the same-"

"no test me again."

"mrs agnes-"

"stop calling me that your making me sound like someone's mother."

"Well your gonna be."

"the test is positive. and I won't retest you. start getting ready for a baby or get ready to get rid of it." he scoffed before leaving the room for good.
