District 1 Female - COSMO CAVALLI [1]

"Two minutes is hardly enough time to win support and love from a group of strangers if you're expected to keep your clothes on." When I look into the mirror and see just how Pluto has dressed me, I know I could make half of them fall in love in less than a minute. It's a translucent slip, just barely covering the important parts with thousands of tiny golden gemstones. It is quite possibly something I could bring back and wear at the Palace.

Pluto smiles at his work, gently adjusting my lipstick with his thumb. "They will be ready for you in less than five minutes, Casimir is just starting up." I ignore his words, my eyes flashing to closed door. The lock is turned, keeping anyone out who doesn't belong.

Just as Pluto turns to leave, I grab hold of his tie and pull him closer to me. "Five minutes is quite a bit of time, you know." I speak softly, pulling his body against mine as I press my lips into his. He hesitates slightly, so I drop the kiss to his neck. One hand stays gripping his tie, while the other wanders around his chest. Just as I drop to my knees, Pluto backs away.

I huff slightly, standing back up. "You're going to ruin your lipstick." Pluto doesn't make eye contact as he wipes the smears of red from his neck. He touches my face softly as he reapplies the makeup to my lips. He drops the tube back on the table, but pauses before opening the door. "Don't ruin your makeup again." He scolds, shaking his head.

Pluto escapes, his flash of blue hair bobbing in and out of the crowd. He is beautiful, but in such an artificial way. It would only take another coat of Manic Panic across my lips to forget the aqua burst of his eyes or the golden band that wrapped itself  around his ring finger. I fluffed my hair in the mirror for the final time, twisting my devilish smirk into an angelic smile.

Casimir peaks his head into the door, his mouth twisting into a smile as he inspects my dress. "Looking good, Cavalli." He winks at me, stepping out of the door. "Cass is nearly done. Try an impress the crowd as much as you have impressed me." I open my mouth to respond, but Castiel's buzzer explodes into the sky. Instead, I just let my hand graze his arm as I flutter past.

Castiel has a pained look on his face as he attempts to squeeze away from the crowd. There is a smile painted on his face for the camera's sake, but his cloudy eyes are thick with fear. I give his arm a light squeeze, still focusing myself on keeping the sweet smile plastered onto my lips as I bounce onto the stage.

Jade has yet to do her interview, so I am the first female tribute they have seen.  They absolutely adore me. I glide onto the stage, waving and blowing kisses. I even give a twirl before dropping myself into my chair. I gracefully fling a chunk of hair off my shoulders, before shooting a wink deep into the crowd. When the crowd finally quiets themselves, Xavier turns towards me.

His appearance is eerie and I can see where part of Castiel's fear was born from. Though he cannot be older than thirty, everything about him is grim. His grey hair is full and spiked back on his head. He is void of any color, including his lips and eyes. Still, he looks in relatively good shape and well put together. He is better than some of the men who come into the Palace.

"Cosmo Cavalli." He speaks softly, as if addressing me and completely ignoring the crowd. His voice was like a whisper, slipping softly into my ears and persuading me to give in. I pushed away the shudder than was forming, already excited for the challenge. "Has the Capitol been everything you thought it would be?"

I nod eagerly, trying to outplay his quietness with enthusiasm. "Oh, Xavier, it has been my dream since I was little to make it here. The lights, the fame, -" I look down into the crowd and give an innocent giggle, "the people!" The crowd explodes with energy as I let a tinkling laugh flood their ears. "I just can't wait to come back and see it all!"
