Immediately after the Access Hollywood interview, International Stay flooded media with messages of support along with some Korean and Japanese Stay, but others send hate messages and even trucks to the JYPE building in Seoul demanding Chan be disciplined for secretly being in a relationship.
On tour, U.S. Stay filled stadiums to capacity, and brought posters celebrating Chan's happiness, others with comments to leave her and date them. In his concert ments, he thanked Stay for their support.
Fans noticed and commented, in concert social media clips, that Chan has never looked happier and healthier.

All in all, minus some delulus, everything is fine. He talked to Stay on Bubble and on YouTube live. He shared Hyunjin's drawing of her, absolutely beaming and bragging on how beautiful his princess was.

The members, and JYPE also backed him up in their lives, interviews, and statements.
Since Chan's girlfriend was not a celebrity, everyone asked for her privacy to be respected, and JYPE sent a notice that any attempts at publicizing her identity or harming her in any way would not be tolerated and would result in legal and/or criminal action.
Eventually, the news died down, and some other big kpop news substituted that one, and that was that!
