After leaving Internal Affairs, their investigation into the missing drugs for Ghost's case was a mystery. No one could possibly take 40 kilos of drugs out of a building and not be seen. I asked what about the security cameras and whether there was any footage of anyone leaving the evidence room with a bag or something that would carry the drugs out of here. That was where the problem began. The power went out of the building at the time the drugs went missing. They checked every officer there, and none of the officers had the drugs, and they even did a search in their cars and houses.

Whoever took the drugs were obviously professionals because there was not a single shred of evidence that could identify the perp or perps that did this. As I was heading back to the station, I got a call from Namjoon that I missed. I listened to the voicemail he left me about finding Lin and that his apartment was under the name of Ming Mason, but the social security number on the paperwork belongs to the victim, Amber Li. This case was not making any sense, and the connection between the victims to Ghost to Lin to Ming Mason was not getting any clearer.

20 minutes from the station, I got a call from J-Hope, and he said to come to the medical examiner's office immediately. I asked him what was wrong, and he told me that I needed to see it to believe it. I told him that I was on my way. When I arrived at the examiner's office, J-Hope met me at the door and immediately took me to the back where Jimin stood over a big box. The look on his face clearly was a look of sadness as well as fear. Jimin looked up at me and told me that the box had arrived today along with a letter.

I walked over to the box and looked inside. The smell was masked, but it was the missing body parts of the two boys. The missing parts of Amber Li were not in the box, and Jimin handed me the letter. Jimin told me that whoever killed the victims also knew how to preserve the parts. Otherwise, they would have been badly decomposed. Jimin told me that the letter and the box were addressed to me and Namjoon. It does not make any sense that this was delivered to the medical examiner's office and that our names were on the letter.

I opened the letter and was surprised what the letter revealed and immediately called Namjoon, but it went straight to voicemail. I left the examiner's office and headed back to the station to find out where Namjoon was.

Lin was released, and as soon as Lin left the station, he received a phone call. When Lin answered it, the voice he heard shook him.

Lin: Hello.

Ming: (Deep voice). What did the police want?

Lin: (Shaking) Information about Ghost, the drugs, and the murdered members of Ghost's family.

Ming: Ghost is supposed to be dead, Jason. What did you tell them?

Lin: Nothing. Somehow, Ghost survived the attack and named me.

Ming: (In an angry dark tone). That is a problem, Jason, that we cannot have. Ghost needs to be dealt with permanently. No mistakes this time. I will handle it.

Lin: Yes, sir.

Ming: Who are the detectives that interviewed you?

Lin: Detectives Jin from narcotics and Kim Namjoon from homicide.

Ming: Hmm...I'm pretty sure that Detective Kim Namjoon has a partner in homicide. Jin is only there because of the drugs.

Lin: Yes. They know there is a connection but do not know what it is.

Ming: That's good. I have a task for you to complete. Do not go to your apartment. Sale the remaining drugs that we have gotten back and lay low at the hideout, I have prepared for you. You know the one that I am talking about?

Lin: Yes, sir.

Ming: Good. I will take care of the rest.

Ming ended the call, and Lin went to complete his task.

I was desperate to reach Namjoon, but there was no answer. I called Min Yoongi to ask where Namjoon was. While waiting for Min Yoongi to answer the haunting letter has got my heart racing. Min Yoongi answered the phone.

Min Yoongi: Yes, Taehyung?

Taehyung: (Panicking). Captain, where is Namjoon?!

Min Yoongi: He and Jin went to Lin's apartment to search it. Why?

Taehyung: They are in danger! Send back up to them and text me the address!

Min Yoongi: Danger!? I'm sending back up now and texting you the address!

When Min Yoongi hung up, Taehyung got the address and sped to the location before it was too late.
