Chapter 8

Dear Detectives,

I hear that you are seeking information about me and my business. As you can see by what I sent you that I do not have an ounce of compassion for children. You are wondering why Amber and her sons were killed in the manner that you have found them. Well, first thing first let us talk about what you did to me and my business. You arrested my idiot dealer, Ghost with 40 kilos of my drugs. That idiot should have known better than to double cross me.

You may wonder why Ghost received such a terrible loss. Ghost had worked for me for many years and when he disappeared, showed up late for dealings, and missing money from my profit; I followed him. It was easy since Ghost never saw my face. He only saw the face of my main man, Jason. Jason would never turn on me for he knows that death awaits him if he does. Ghost grew some balls and started fucking the woman, I loved. And when that idiot got her pregnant, I planned my revenge.

It turns out that he was giving that slut the money from my drug sales! So, I decided to get even and make them all pay for betraying me and putting a damper on my business. You may think that I am heartless for killing a mother and her sons. The way I had such pleasure in tearing each one of them apart. Their screams were beautiful music to my ears. Once I had my fill of them, I went after Ghost. He did not see me coming for Jason distracted him while I came from behind.

I was going to beat him to death, but I realized that if I did, Ghost would never learn of what I did to his family. The best part of it was that I saw you all interview him crying in his room. I took absolute pleasure in seeing him in pain. But he needs to suffer more for taking the one woman, I loved away from me. Do you have any idea of how much money, I make by selling drugs to weak souls, who do not care if they live or die if they get a hit? More money in your lifetime.

So, imagine a man like me, who does well by allowing others to hurt themselves and possibly kill themselves allows me to sleep well at night. Oh, I am sure you think the worst of me and that I am a monster for what I did to get revenge. That I am the Devil himself or his offspring. One thing is that you do not ever cross a man with power and resources that only a few can ever imagine having. I am not afraid to kill, because you pigs would never catch me even if I sat next to you.

By the time you get to this point of the letter, I left a surprise for you at the apartment. Be careful where you step because it could be the last day you will be alive.

Jin and Namjoon were at the apartment to execute the search warrant. Namjoon motioned the landlord to unlock the door and the detectives went inside to a horrible smell and sight. Ghost's body was in the apartment and when an officer entered inside, he stepped on a specially designed booby-trap which sends several knives thrown with great force. As Namjoon and Jin duck, as the officer's body hit the ground it triggered another booby-trap. This time were several shotgun blasts from three locations in the apartment. Once the dust settled, Namjoon and Jin slowly got up and looked around. Four officers were killed and three were injured.
