"Please, Jenna can't hear us. She's blind." -Hanna Marin
Isabel clambered into the back seat of Spencer's car. They were waiting for her and Emily.
"His parents still live in that house," Spencer scoffed at Hanna. Isabel had no idea what they were arguing about.
"What's going on?" Isabel frowned.
"Remember when I kicked you, Jason, and Ezra out last night for no reason?" Aria sighed. "Well, I found out that Mike had broken into Garrett's apartment and stolen a piece of pottery that Jenna had made."
"Jenna? How are Jenna and Garrett connected?" Isabel asked incredulously.
"I don't know," Spencer replied. "That's the point."
"Maybe he's just bringing raw meat to Jenna's cat," Hanna suggested.
"Toby lives there, too, and they don't have a cat," Spencer pointed out.
"Then maybe he was bringing over raw meat for Jenna," Hanna shrugged. Suddenly, they saw Emily walk out of her house.
"Here comes Em," Isabel said.
"Who's living in her house now?" Aria asked.
"Some losers who can't figure out the alarm system," Hanna responded. "They've tripped it like three times. The security company keeps calling her mom in Texas." Emily climbed in, and Isabel turned to her.
"Everything okay?" she asked.
"Yeah, it's fine," Emily nodded, but she looked sad. "It's just so weird to walk in there and see other people's stuff."
"Hey, why don't you tell 'em to lay off the alarm for a couple of days?" Hanna shrugged.
"I'm guessing they don't feel safe," Emily sighed.
"Well, they will now," Hanna replied. "I'm sure Aria's parents are gonna have Mike on lockdown till he turns 18."
"You did not just say that, Hanna," Aria scoffed as the others stared at her.
"What? I'm not judging," Hanna shrugged. "I'm just guessing that your little brother will find another hobby besides breaking and entering."
"Still talking," Isabel sighed, leaning forward on Emily's seat.
"Guys, look, I don't know what's going on with my brother," Aria finally said. "If I knew, you would know."
