"If I was a teacher and my students only got me coffee mugs, I would so start flunking people." -Hanna Marin
Isabel, Spencer, Emily, and Hanna were at Ezra's classroom, searching for evidence that he was 'A'.
"How many Goldstick variations are there?" Hanna asked as they walked in. Emily was on the phone with someone, and Isabel was texting Aria. She wouldn't respond, and Isabel sure hoped that she was okay.
"Thirty-two. They'll never miss us," Spencer replied, shutting the door.
"Aria still isn't answering," Emily complained, and Isabel looked up.
"What are you gonna say if we get her?" she scoffed as she put her phone away. "Isn't it funny how your old boyfriend turned out to be a stalking whackjob?"
"Well, I'd like to know a lot more before we talk to her," Emily shrugged.
"You take that side of the desk, you take the file cabinet," Spencer said as she pointed. Emily walked off, and Isabel went to the bookshelf in the corner. If she had papers, even money she wanted to hide, it went into her books.
"What are we looking for?" Hanna asked, scrunching up her face.
"Evidence," Spencer explained, opening a drawer as Emily crouched down and copied her. "We're gonna need a lot more if we're going to prove to Aria that Ezra's..." She paused at the looks on the others' faces. "Not who he says he is."
"That he's 'A,'" Emily corrected her.
"How are we going to convince Aria if we can't even say it out loud?" Hanna sighed, shaking her head. She picked up a mug and put it on top of the file cabinets. "If I was a teacher and my students only got me coffee mugs, I would so start flunking people."
Spencer pulled out a yellow envelope and took out a diary. A diary that was identical to the one 'A' had just stolen.
"Tell me that's not what it looks like," Emily gaped as Spencer flipped through the pages.
"Ali's journal," Isabel breathed, walking over. They all filed out of his classroom as not to be caught.
"So that was Ezra at the cabin?" Emily asked.
"We always knew there were two of them," Spencer scoffed, shutting the door behind them.
"Ezra and Shana?" Hanna frowned.
"Ezra and somebody," Isabel corrected her.
Suddenly, a door squeaked, making them duck behind a pillar. Mona walked into the empty halls and into Ezra's classroom.
"What is Mona doing here?" Emily whispered.
"I don't know," Spencer shrugged.
"Is she looking for the book?" Hanna added as they craned their necks.
