"Hanna cannot be stumbling around the halls of school looking like she's on a bender in Cancun." -Spencer Hastings

"Why would Noel help you with this?" Emily asked Ali. They were all standing together as Ali sorted through her closet.

"What was the plan if he'd got caught?" Spencer added. "I'm sorry, Mrs. Marin, I just needed to borrow a butcher knife?'"

"You're a little loud," Ali hissed, turning to glare at her.

"You're a little crazy," Isabel shot back, raising an eyebrow.

Spencer brought a hand up to her eye, which had gotten hurt in that stables incident.

"Spencer, your eye is getting worse," Emily sighed, going to get her a wet towel.

"Yeah, I see plenty out of the other one," Spencer grumbled, shooting Ali a dirty look.

"Hey, what's going on? How's your mom?" Isabel asked as Hanna burst through the door and looked at them.

"Freaked," she grumbled, also shooting Ali a dirty look. Seems she had no shortage of them these days.

"Guys, we needed to do this," Ali insisted. "You saw Tanner cornering me at school. She's trying to poke holes in our story."

"Your story," Spencer corrected with a scoff. Suddenly, a phone started ringing, and Ali rummaged through her purse to answer it. She instead shut it off.

"Oh, was that Noel?" Isabel asked sarcastically. Is that who you've been sneaking out of your house in the middle of the night to meet?" She went on as Spencer held that towel to her bad eye. Spencer had told her everything she'd gathered.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Ali scoffed. "You've been spying on me?" They all purposely avoided the question. "Well, maybe now you'll understand why I turned to Noel. At least someone still has my back."

"Ali-" Emily protested, but Alison interrupted her.

"What?" she snapped. "I see what's going on here. One of my best friends doesn't even show up to my S.O.S. call and the other one..." she looks at Isabel. "...is shadowing me like I'm the enemy. Maybe asking Noel to do this wasn't the perfect plan, but I'm kind of running out of choices." They all stayed silent as she pushed past them and started to leave.

"Where are you going?" Emily asked with a worried tone to her voice.

"I'm gonna call my Dad back," Ali scoffed. "I'd like to do it outside, but, Isabel, are you gonna follow me or have you already set up a camera for that?"

Isabel stayed quiet, a little pissed. She wasn't even the one following her, it was Spencer.

Spencer in question, checked to make sure Ali was gone. "You know, she never even answered that question about Noel. The only thing I can't figure out is how did he get time to break into this place and lock us into those stables?"
