It's been a week since you left. I spent some of the time hanging out with Ryan and Andrew and hanging out with Bia and Kaia. I spend nights on the phone with you. You seemed so tired half the time and others you would be so excited to tell me what you did that day. We were still the same, two little lovebirds.
"I miss you." you say through the phone as I cooked some dinner for myself.
"Come visit me with dad and Donnie."
"I love your suggestion but I can't. I don't have the money for that." I rejected as you pouted through the screen.
"At least come to my first game. Please. You, Ryan, and Andrew can fly back right after."
"Roos, that's too much money." I reasoned as you gave me your best puppy dog eyes.
"I..."
"Okay. Mom's booking tickets now. See you then, sweets." you blurted with glee before hanging up the call. I stood there in shock at what you just did. I guess there was no going back from that now. Now what can I tell my parents I'm doing for like five hours on August 31st.
