SURPRISE!!
Here's a chapter from the vault, which are deleted scenes I couldn't put in Evermore but wanted to write anyway. This chapter has nothing to do with Evermore's plot and can be read alone.Enjoy this fluffy, silly, bonus chapter that is inspired by the Haunted Hosgmeade quest. It's not 100% accurate because I changed things around, but there might still be spoilers for that quest so be warned.
Happy New Year everyone :)

Once Upon A Haunted Holiday
(From The Vault)Y/n's Perspective
Sprinkles of snow began dusting my braided hair on my way to a peculiar Hogsmeade shop that supposedly sold curious artefacts and antique books, a blanket of white already coating the familiar cobblestones from a storm the night before today.
I crossed my arms as if it would protect me from the chilly breeze that kissed my cheeks. Despite the thick Ravenclaw sweater I wore under my coat, and a scarf, I still felt cold to my bones.
Christmas was tomorrow and I've still yet to find the perfect present for Sebastian, and this shop was my best bet.
I was reading some books in the Restricted Section yesterday—thanks to his influences I'd gotten better at sneaking in by myself—and found a book about books that were sold decades ago only for them to become less and less popular over the years. One of which was about a mystical book that could temporarily transport you into every chapter on its pages without consequence.
Considering Sebastian was such a reader, I thought it would be a perfect present for him. And only one shop could possibly hold one or two copies left of this book, which looked innocent enough from the outside.
I'd heard many rumours from visitors and locals that there was an odd witch vendor inside, so everyone always avoided the shop.
But was I quitter? No.
Weird witch or not, I needed to find this book for Sebastian, and not to mention I was too curious to know if it was really true.
The shop's bell rang when I cautiously entered the door, its hinges seeming so fragile that I was careful not to slam it close.
"Hello?" I called at the dim, cramped space, shrugging off my coat to hook on my arm and looking around. "Is anyone—AHH!"
A lady, who looked about forty, poofed out of nowhere just a few feet away from me.
"A customer!" she said, shrill voice making me fake a smile. She shook my hand with her rough fingers in a rather aggressively friendly gesture, the scent of something foul and musky wafting to my nose. "Why dearie, it has been a long long while since I've had anyone come in! How can I help you? Oh but of course, let me take your coat for ya, dearie. Come in, come in!"
I swallowed down the cringe the more I observed her, some kind of unfamiliar energy overcoming me as she took the coat from me and hung it on a nearby rack. She had dark, silky hair and freckled pale skin, with eyes of violet.
I smiled, then said, "I'm looking for a book, and I was wondering if you might have one. Or perhaps, you know of it and can help me find it. Please?"
