chapter 81 - signal in the dark

Y/n's Perspective

12 August 1895

"That's it, darling. You take me so well," Sebastian praised, his rough hands palming me from behind as I breathed hard, bouncing on top of him desperately, the bed creaking under his weight.

A moan escaped me as he thrust hard into me again, slamming me down on him at the same time. Slowly, I swayed my hips to build the pressure again, my pace picking up by the second until I vibrated with more need.

Sebastian half-grinned below me, brown hair clinging to his forehead, his eyes heavy-lidden from bliss. He caressed my skin, touched me in indescribable ways. For every trail his fingers made on my skin, a goosebump left its wake.

I leaned down to kiss him, a hot whisper of his breath ghosting across my sweaty skin. The morning light painted his glistening freckled skin with a beautiful glow, and I could not have enough.

Sebastian groaned as he guided me again, this time at a faster pace. I palmed his chest while I cried out from the intoxicating building orgasm within me, the sapphire ring on my finger sparkling with our every move.

"Sebastian, I can't hold it any longer, I—"

"Let it out," he growled. "Let me hear you, my love."

That silencing charm truly always came in handy, didn't it? Because one last slam into me had me screaming his name over and over again, my legs trembling from my desperate riding. He spilled his bliss in me right after, a chuckle escaping both of us.

He grabbed his wand off the bedside table and cleaned us up. I continued straddling his lap while he sat up, pressing our foreheads together.

"I cannot wait to marry you tomorrow," Sebastian whispered against my lips, tucking loose hair behind my ear.

Even though we'd been together for about 4 years now, his blatant words of affection never failed to make me flush.

We'd stayed up a little too much last night that we ended up falling asleep in my bedroom instead of his. We were back in Sallow Manor for the summer, pausing our travels for the wedding we had planned.

I kissed him gently and smiled. "I wish it was already tomorrow."

Sebastian gave me no time to blink before he playfully threw my naked body back on the mattress and hovered above me, a smirk tugging at the corners of his lovely mouth.
