The New Light of Hope: Books I to VI.

Chapter I: How It All Began.

Upon the morning on the first day of June before the sun came out, Chief CrimsonPelt had called BlueFire, ArrowHeart and Compass into his den. "You wanted to see us, sir?" ArrowHeart asked him when he entered. "Yes, I did." He replied. "I'm sending you, BlueFire and Compass on a simple mission."

ArrowHeart: "What is the objective of the mission, sir?"

Chief CrimsonPelt: "You, BlueFire and Compass are tasked to go into the city of Wingards County, Silverville, Lucella East Coast; there, you will meet seven young adolescent animals who were born there and have lived there throughout their entire lives; they also must be informed on who the eighth Hero is, for they do not know who it is."

Compass: "You received the prophecy just last night, sir?"

Chief CrimsonPelt: "Yes, indeed I have received it, Compass. And I can sense that this generation will be a very unique one. I am tasking all three of you to go and find them."

ArrowHeart: "Yes, sir, we shall do just that and come back all in one piece!"

BlueFire: "All righty then, let's roll out."

Chief CrimsonPelt: "Good luck to the three of you."

They then left the den to head to Silverville. It had made CrimsonPelt happy that ArrowHeart was always very willing and very ready to carry out this task. He was happy that he had trained the young fighter when he became an apprentice when he was five months of age, it always made him proud that ArrowHeart knew what to do and that he did his job well, the same went for his grandson, Compass as well. I wish all three of them the best of luck with this task. He told himself.
And now, the real story begins.

You know, out of all of the adventures that I have been on with my friends, we have always mentioned them from time and time again whenever we had the chance to meet up with one another and talk. I remember when school got out for the summertime, we used to meet up at the park and just talk for hours and hours on end and we would make the most of our summer before the next school year. But there is one adventure and one particular summer that we all can remember so very clearly, we are still able to remember all that had happened even to this very existing day. Even I still remember this story from the very top of my head, even to this day, I still remember it; every little detail, every event, every battle, all of the scars that were received, all of the bloodshed, tears, hatred, the mauvais enemies that had terrorized us, everything. It was no ordinary adventure, my friend; it was an adventure that would change our simple city lives as we knew it: The time when we were protectors of the forest. I know that you're thinking that we may sound crazy, or that it was all just a dream. But it was not dream; it was reality to the fullest extent and we are not crazy at all, we are speaking the truth. But if you're curious enough and want to learn more about it, then come and listen closely to this story; from the very beginning, to the very end of it.

Now, in order to learn how this all began and learn the story itself, we must start from the beginning, as every story always starts from the beginning. So come in, oh, curious one as we tell you a tale that has such a complex thing to be told by the ones who went through it all.

My name is Aurora Madden Anderson, I will begin telling the story and then you will hear from my friends as we all tell our parts of the story that is about to unfold. I will begin first.

I was fourteen years of age when this all happened. It was the very beginning of summer break for all of us, and I had made the decision to sleep in since we did not have to go to school. That same morning, I heard a voice ask me: "Aurora, are you awake?" It was the voice of my mother, Zizzy, a strong warrior and the one who had trained not only my aunt's to defend themselves, but me and my siblings as well. I woke up by the sound of her voice and answered with, "Yes, ma'am, I'm awake now." I then got up from my bed and yawned. "We're out for the summer, you know?" I told her.
