Chapter XXIX: A Big Day.

Aurora:

I looked within the Den of the Elders to see Chief ArrowHeart talking with SilverHeart before leaving. "Sir, it's time for us to go." I told him. He looked up at me and then looked at his mother, tears rolling down his face. "Well, we're about to leave. Goodbye, mother, I hope to see you after the battle." He said as he nuzzled his mother, his voice so brittle with emotion.
"Goodbye and good luck, my son." She weakly replied. "Hold your head high and lead your Division well."

"I will. Stay safe. I love you."

"I love you too."

He then got up and walked towards me. "All right, let's do this." He said. Then we made our way up to the front of the camp entrance where almost everyone was waiting. "All right, everyone, let's move out!" I announced to everyone. Then we were all on our way to the Golden Springs River, along with the rest of the Divisions.

All of us –including Amanda and Maria– soon met in the middle, in the same place and we all went into the same direction as we led the way to the Golden Springs River to fight off the Diablos.

Once we got there, we saw nobody at first, and so we waited for a while to see what would happen next. "If they really wanted us to battle, they'd show their asses by now." Abby snarled.

"Come down, Abby. I'm sure they'll show their sorry faces soon." Milly added in. Just as she spoke, I felt something jump on me and bite the back of my nape. It was none other than a Crawler! "Get your razor-sharp talons off of me, you sneaky little bastard!" I shouted as I grabbed ahold of it and threw it against a tree. "Aurora, are you okay?" Sadie asked. "Yeah, I'm fine." I replied. "Am I bleeding?"

I pulled my hair out of the way so she could go on to examine my nape. "A little." She replied. "It left only a few bites and scratches but they should heal up."

Aurora: "Where'd that thinng even come from anyway?"

Sadie: "I think it jumped out from the trees. I mean, what other logical explanation can I give here?"

Aurora: "All right, that's it! Enough playing around! Show yourselves now and fight us like you have actual common sense, you bastards!"

"As you wish, Aurora. Diablos, now!" The familiar sound of Nathaniel's voice replied back in such a valient tone, showing no fear whatsoever. Then the entirety of the Diablos made themselves known and the fight was on.
