Aurora:
We did not really say much on our way back to the Northeast—the first half of our journey back was mostly spent in silence with nothing much to say to one another. That is, until Bella asked us: "Are any of y'all ready for what's to come."
Jemma: "Might as well be."
Abigail: "I'm kind of having second doubts about this whole thing."thing
Amethyst: "Me too, but we can't avoid something like this now. Besides, it'd already be too late if we turned back now which we can't do because the battle is already near."
Abigail: "You're right, we definitely can't turn back now, not when the battle is so close."
Sadie: "I hate to say this, but the battle is actually tomorrow."
Milly: "What?! Sadie, why didn't you say anything?"
Sadie: "Well, we were so busy with finding the battlefield and I forgot to even mention it. I'm sorry."
Aurora: "Look, the best we can do is tell everyone when we get back and prepare ourselves then. Okay?"
Everyone: "Okay."
Aurora: "Let's just get back home first. Blaming someone for speaking too late won't solve anything."
We all agreed and then when we got back to our assigned Divisions, we had to get right to work. "NightStone, Doe, Fox, prepare the herbs!" I announced. "Everyone prepare yourselves and remember everything that you were taught!"
"Why, Aurora?" Fox asked. "Is something wrong?"
I then looked at him and looked at everyone and said: "We fight tomorrow. Prepare yourselves."
