The New Light of Hope: Books I to VI.

Chapter I: New Fighters, Hunters, and Apprentices.

Ah, welcome back, old friend. You're back to hear the story, I see. Well, come and listen as we tell you the third part of our story that has much to do with spirits; especially those beneath our feet.

Amethyst:

"Are you sure you'll be okay out there?" My father asked me as I approached the door. "Of course I'll be okay, dad." I replied not long after. "We're just gonna check in on the animals and see if they need our help."

Rash: "Okay, but just be careful while you're out there. I don't want your to get hurt again. You know what happened the last time."

Amethyst: "Like I said, we're just checking in on them and helping them out if they need it. But don't worry, we'll be careful; I promise."

Rash: "All right, you and your friends have fun and stay safe."

Amethyst: "We will. Bye, dad!"

Rash: "Bye!"

I then left, turning around to see that my friends were waiting for me. "Ya ready, kid?" Summer had asked me. "Sure am." I replied. "Are y'all?"

"We sure are." Bellatrix answered. "Then let's head out already!" Jemma said.

We then left. A lot had happening that very same day in the Forest Spirits Division; all of the offspring in the nursery were becoming apprentices and we had the honor of attending the ceremony as well, even if we were assigned with a different Division.

But what exactly happened before any of it? Well, to start off, the Southwest Forest had been burnt by the Diablos and we had spent six whole days getting to the Northeast Forest where the animals could call home. But at the same time, when we got to the Northeast, unfortunate things started happening which was part of an omen we all received the first night during our travels: Many animals -young and old- had died before and after the journey with some dying not long after making it to their new place that they could all home, including BoulderSnout, the former co-leader from the Shade Hunters Division and Chief DoveFeather's brother, which left a terrifying remark on both her and Abigail as a result with FiercePounce taken his place as the new co-leader of the Division, and the bloodiest battle to have ever gone down in forest history had taken place as well, leaving many animals dead, including SilverSun, MoonStone's sister. And not long after that had happened, SilverHeart, Chief ArrowHeart's mother, died and joined her deceased relatives, those being Chief AutumnHeart, BlueTail, ShadeFur, EmberHeart, and the rest of her descendents as well; the battle and the blood spilt left a long lasting effect on all of us; something we wish we could have forgotten about, but here we are telling the story to you.

Though... there is one story in particular we have chosen to whelve in deeply and to never tell amongst ourselves, nor to anybody else, just the thought of it makes us feel a terrible toska gravely injuring our souls.

My apologies, regard what you have heard and let us move on. What I just said is a story for another time if you wish to drop by to listen to our stories once again.

We soon made it the Northeast, where Chief ArrowHeart and MoonStone were waiting for us. "Ah, there you all are." Chief ArrowHeart said. "And just in time, too. We are going to hold two ceremonies today at noon in the Forest Spirirts Division. Do you wish to come?"

"Of course!" Aurora responded. "But before we do ny of that, I must arrange something first."

She turned around to looked at all of us and began to speak:

"Abby, Amethyst told me about the incident that happened yesterday after the battle with the Diablos at the Shade Hunters Division and how you are now banned from helping them. Therefore, I will have to rearrange your Divisions; I will still take on the Forest Spirits Division and Milly will still take on the Shade Hunters Division, but I will now take on the Forest Spirits solo and whereas for you, Abby, you and Bella will now take on the Night Runners Division from this time on with Amethyst taking on your role of helping the Shade Hunters Division alongside Milly; Sadie and Jemma, you two will now take on the Sun Chasers Division; and Summer, you will now take on the Stream Echoes Division. Am I clear with the arrangments here?"
