Chapter XXVIII: Caught Red-Handed.

Abigail:

That same day, I had caught a glimpse Milly and her patrol came back and when I saw Milly, she looked very pissed off. Me and a few others ran up to them. "What happened?" I asked. Milly looked at, her hot pink eyes burned with hatred and rage. "We came across the strange figure that was reported not that long ago and it turned to be my uncle Mari but in a new form." She said; at that moment, I also shared an angry look with her. "The same slimy, miserable prick that hurt you and your brother?!" I fiercely asked. She nodded her head "yes" in response. "Why that raggedy son of a bi–"

"All right, Abby. I get it." She said. "But don't worry about me, just worry about what you're doing first and we'll talk later, okay?"

"Okay." I said.

I decided to go and check up on Ivy to see how she was doing. I had kept my eyes on SunPelt for quite awhile now and I was just about ready to strike at any given moment. I peeked in only to see SunPelt inside and then I got out before he could even get a glimpse of me.

I then saw Ivy walking into to camp with herbs in her mouth and I then noticed that she now a part of her ear torn off and a scar on her nose. I assumed that SunPelt was the one who did this to her and it was quite obvious to me. So, I walked up to her, for I believed that this was the final straw; when I walked up to her, she dropped the herbs and shied away from me. "I'm ain't gonna hurt you, Ivy." I assured her. I then got to her level and looked into her eyes and saw a look of pity and misery. "We need to talk." I said.

"B- but… I-I-I I'm not supposed t– to talk to y-y you or the others." She stammered fearfully.

Abigail: "Who told you this?"

Ivy: "S– SunPelt."

Abigail: "Damn, I should've known."

Ivy: "About what?"

Abigail: "That bastard telling you this! I've had my eye on him since the day we first met y'all, Ivy. And I've been longing for the day to expose him."

Ivy: "Y– You have?"

Abigail: "I have. Now, tell me: Was he the one that gave you these injuries?"

She nodded her head. "He did." She admitted. "I accidentally got the wrong herb a few days ago and he did this to me as punishment."

Abigail: "Well, I'll tell you what. Hope is here to visit. Do you know her by any chance?"

Ivy: "Isn't she one of the loners Aurora and the Forest Spirits Division found?"

Abigail: "She is. I'll tell her about this and Chief ShadowHeart."

But before Ivy could even say anything, we heard the loud boisterous voice of SunPelt yelling: "Ivy! Bring your hide over here and help with these herbs!"

"Shoot! Gotta go!" She then grabbed the herbs and ran to the Healers' Den. I watched as she ran to go and help him. All of this ends today. I told myself.

As I went to go and find Hope and Chief ShadowHeart, I saw Milly talking to SilentShadow–I went over to them. "Hey, Abby." Milly said. "Hi." I responded. I then looked at SilentShadow and then looked at her. "Can I see SilentShadow for a second?" I asked. "Sure thing." She agreed. She did not bother to ask me why I needed to see him, though she probably knew. Then we found Hope and Chief ShadowHeart and I led all three of them to the Healers' Den.

Ivy:

I had finished helping my trainer with sorting the herbs by this time. But when we were done, SunPelt said: "Ivy, if you think we are done, think again."
"What do you mean?" I asked. "Don't play dumb with me, you idiot!" He yelled. "I saw what you did earlier!"
