Epilogue: Aftermath.

Amethyst:

Date: July 31, 2020.

As the night progressed from there, my thoughts felt rushed as though my life had flashed before my very own eyes after something tramatic occured right then and I did not have enough time to react to what was going on after what happened that very same night that I would never forget about even to this very day.

When I woke up the next morning, I felt battered, bruised, weak, tired, and sore after the events that same night after the fight and I could slightly feel some of the bandage wraps wrapped around my body and I could see Sadie fast asleep with banadages wrapped around her body as well and Milly had it wrapped around her knee and I saw the rest of the group asleep as well. "Rora?" My voice trailed off due to how weak I felt in that moment that I could hardly even speak but Aurora heard me, woke up and said: "Oh, you're finally awake, Amethyst. Thank God."

Amethyst: "Yep, I'm awake and feel like shit."

Commander Aurora: "I know, I know. You took quite the beating last night."

Amethyst: "I sure did and so did Sadie."

Commander Aurora: "Jemma too and Milly was slightly injured."

Amethyst: "Jemma's injured too?"

Commander Aurora: "Yeah, she showed her corruption form in that moment and began fighting Sadie until she snapped out of it and then passed out. And so here we are now."

Amethyst: "Wow, that was bold of her."

Commander Aurora: "It was. Well, since you're awake now I might as well go and get Bella and she'll give you some pain killers and check on you, Sadie, Jemma, and Milly as well."

Amethyst: "All right."

Then she left and I laid my head back down and turned to look of the ceiling as I began to close my eyes to rest for a little while longer.

But knowing that what had happened that same night was just the slight taste of another one of my many near death experiences that I was yet to have as time flew by with each passing second, mintue, hour, day, week, month, and year.

Something that I would grow too familiar with as time progressed on and on from there and I would have to weary of all of it when those faithfuls came and went and would later be left in the past to become nothing more than a memory and a shadow from the past.
